My favourite moment was Javier calls the keeper to catch the ball before River Plate jersey guy. He said ''Portero! Portero!'' and it was my favourite moment. Thanks for showing everyone that it's too hard to compete against a retired professional player. Nowadays, Barcelona really need a defensive player like Javier Mascherano for sure. Definitively, the best part is how Javier encourage the amateurs player to try the test. And hearing him about his life as professional player, the love for the sport it is the same than ours, and maybe, it is the reason of our passion in Argentina, it is insane: The love for the sport.

My favourite part was when this legend gave a tips to the Argentina guy and encourage him, a very kind person

my favorite moment was getting to see mascherano play again, missed seeing it! one of the best defenders ever!

I love videos like this that help put a dose of reality for observers/fans. We always have an element of 'I could have scored that' or 'I could've tackled him' but the levels in football are insane to those who play and have played alongside semi-pro or even ex-pros

I've followed Masche's entire career since he was in the under 20 national team. back then everyone knew he was going to end up in the senior national team. one of the best players in Argentine football.

Wow I still remember when he scored his first goal for Barcelona after so much time. He was an incredible midfielder for 🇦🇷 & Barcelona. I just enjoyed from the beginning of this video after Javi came in!!!

Siempre me sorprende ver la diferencia que hay entre un profesional del deporte y un amateur. Circulan también unos vídeos de jugadores amateurs tratando de devolver un saque a un tenista profesional y es casi imposible. Desde la perspectiva de los amateurs ni la ves la pelota. La tele lo hace parecer fácil pero no lo es

Y mirá, hablando de eso puntualmente, yo jugué al tenis como junior y llegué a encontrarme en abiertos de Primera Nacional con tipos que medían 1.90 y merodeaban los 200 km/h en un primer saque. Con técnica y práctica terminás devolviendo muchas, pero hasta te puede generar una lesión en la mano/muñeca si el impacto no es limpio y es un sufrimiento, las pelotas te pasan como un tiro si no anticipaste el lado. No quiero pensar lo que será jugar en un nivel ATP e ir contra un sacador especialista. Otra cosa que me pasó es tener la suerte de jugar al fútbol en situación amateur con veteranos de la Primera de Argentina. Con un estado físico hiper reducido respecto a nosotros porque estamos hablando de gente +50, es impresionante cómo se nota la diferencia de regularidad, lectura del juego, consistencia para tomar decisiones y la presencia de los tipos para dividir, trabar y ocupar espacios. No te das cuenta del todo hasta que no lo vivis.

Pasa con muchos amateurs que consideran tener el nivel de un profesional hasta que se cruzan con uno. La diferencia de nivel es abismal y tiene sentido ya que la basta mayoría de profesionales entrenan desde muy chicos

uff es impresionante. en mi familia hay 4 deportistas profesionales de elite, 2 nivel selección, ambos de hecho fueron capitanes en su disciplina. Si bien toda la monada familiar es muy buena dentro del nivel esperable de las personas, los buenos son superlativamente buenos. Lo que es mas, son buenos en todos los deportes en los que los he visto, buenos me refiero a ... los mejores de la cancha después de practicar el deporte un par de veces. Acá masche se deja... esta jugando no se lo toma en serio, te aseguro que le das la pelota a el para esquivar y los deja como postes a todos. Entre profesional y amateur hay una diferencia grande, pero entre un profesional de elite y un amateur la diferencia es abismal. Mi abuelo con 70 años o mas (es un top10 histórico en su disciplina) desafiaba a mis amigos a cualquier deporte de habilidad y les pintaba la cara. Cualquiera que haya jugado con un ex futbolista nivel selección mitad de cancha para arriba puede atestiguar lo que digo, incluso de viejos te hacen pasar verguenza
