Just got into women's college hoops this year and this was my first time watching an Iowa State game. I already admired Crooks based on stats and highlights but there's something about seeing somebody playing the entire game. She's phenomenal! Her and Hidalgo (who is now my personal favorite hooper of all time) and Watkins and Clark will make for an amazing core for the 2028 Olympics.

Iowa State has super-skinny #11 Emily Ryan and super-heavy #55 Audi Crooks. Even their jersey numbers reflect their sizes. Great game for both players to come back from a 20 point deficit.

Audi Crooks is a baller. Let's not forget she's only a freshman from a small Iowa town. Can't wait to see how she improves next year with strength and conditioning.

Audi Crooks played 34 minutes. That's a lot for a freshman post. So yes, what will she do with a season of strength and conditioning? So yes.

To people criticizing Crooks' defense i.e. allowing 3-pointers. Two things, she's probably COACHED to not go out and defend those shots. Secondly, let's remember she got 12 rebounds, so ANOTHER dub-dub for her. She doesn't get those rebounds if she's defending out on the perimeter.

People who say Crooks didn't play defense obviously didn't watch the game. The girl she was guarding who made like 7 threes was someone who had not taken many threes at all during the season so she was probably told to let her shoot for a while. She didn't leave her open without a reason.
