& this one single rip down the Loops Rd in Goldendale, WA nearly a decade ago , initiated the biggest ,most significant change in the downhill/freeride skateboard discipline community since the advent of RKP trucks ,maybe; after experienced skaters/racers saw PSwiss pwn that slalom oriented setup that year , the experimentation & aggressive flip over to sub-150mm ( more 120-ish mm ) ,split angle baseplate, meta-smol wheelbase on Magnum or Alpha wheels ....urethane & truck tech got SO advanced that you could actually maintain grip when needed but also slide & drift the things since you ride directly over the front truck bolts & don't really move your rear foot the entire run due to sub 9" deck widths permit easier transition from heel to toe side. this changed everything for the better , frfr. 🔥🤍
