This road had much sharper switchbacks and the boarders were throwing it sideways to 1. steer 2. control speed. It was awesome to watch. We met at the bottom and talked for a bit. RESPECT! This is one of the videos that actually represents proffesional racing. U knw... It's quite hard to maintain balance.. But experienced people are familiar with such thing. I hope no one got hurt here. I liked how there were moments were speed and air resistance were taken into consideration (even when naturally 😂).. Like when Safa (i guess).. Kept his balance at the drifts,. Even tho he could go faster... But longboarding fellas were right ahead, i could sense the tension in the air... And so this consieration to the physics of the game is highly respected. 'cause winning doesn' t matter when someone is hurt...esp. that it's just for fun.. So i like the Sporty spirit of both sides. Good job, keep it up. Both are cool even when gears aren't shifted.

Not really a contest, looks like nobody's reeeeally trying- if the cyclist were wearing typical bike garb and not jeans and a loose windbreaker, he'd be pretty much running over the longboarders when he is drafting behind them- add the super tuck with some lycra and he'd disappear down that hill from the boards without pedaling much if at all. That said, if the longboarders were wearing skinsuits, maybe an aerodynamic draw......so maybe I'm wrong ;) Longboarders are nuts(but they def have my respect) as they roll with little to no real predictable or effective braking power- props to them and @2:03 proves the skills of the cyclist. Few roadies besides Sagan and a handful of lunatics I used to ride with in my mid 20's would even consider a move like that at that speed and with those consequences on the road. DH MTBer's are a different breed though lol, but you rarely see one on a road bike.......

I dont know about that.. pro peleton guys can do 50mph on the flat - ive seen video of them coming down a mountain at speeds so fast the camera bikes cant keep up.. full on 2 wheel drifts etc.. look up Peter Sagan swiss down hill run from a few years ago - but then again that is a bit like getting someone who rides fast on a motorbike compared to a motogp rider.. so not that fair a comparison.
