Good on Marvin to take a year off after his last fight. The punches he took were brutal, and he needed that time to recover for sure. I think he will return with his usual granite chin and put on a good fight.

I really hope Marvin wins I want to see an Italian champ and he is still the closest!

Bro they did very very little training together. Not enough to make a real difference. Sean was gonna win that fight either way. Just like volk, usman and aljo recently, izzy was metally and physicalky drained from all those 5rd camps, pressure of all those title fights and lost some of that hunger and fire that got him tk where he got. It happens to everyone who had a long run at the top. Even jon jones had those couple hiccups but his extreme talent over the rest was able to still get it done. Khabib bounced before he was entering that period.

I'm italian and it pissess me off Marvin does so much trash talk! He acts like he's a force of nature where instead it's a miracle he's still ranked 5 and if he loses against Allen he'll drop 2-3 position I think. He started improving his striking too late and I think he's now too late to reach an appreciable level, he should have built a fighting style which suited better his characteristics (grappling). Even again izzy he could have done much better if he listened to his coach from 2nd round! I think he'll become a gate keeper unless a miracle happens at ATT!
