Dc has a darker/more serious/intense tone but ends with a usually optimistic conclusion of their stories/story arcs/events, marvel has an overall lighter tone in the movies and slighter lighter tone than dc in the comics but has a rather realistic, not all too optimistic ending to stories/story arcs and events.

gavish Guddye Civil War, Secret Invasion, The first New Avengers Run, and those are jus the first ones that pop to my head, Marvel DID make iconic comics, perhaps not as much, but they made pretty good stuff. That said i still prefer DC in both comics AND shows (For example i prefer Legends of tomorrow to Defenders because they're not held back by the Movie division)

Marvel is more relatable, with most characters going through hard times that most other people go through. The characters are also funny and cool.

Whats soo good in Marvel? all the characters looks the same for example Captain america acts cocky at first than serious and serious and more serious so its thor and ironman plus in the ironman 1 he acts likes a play boy than he act serious than he acts childish again there are no character development in Marvel at all while in DC every characters is unique and makes sense plus Marvel villians only make a one at a time when no history or characters about them,they just show up to the heroes and let them defeat them meanwhile dc villians have wayy better depth and history about them and don't say that snydercut is bad,its bad coz of joss whedon if u say justicleague is bad so are marvel movies. incolusion in marvel movies there are no actual colour griding at all their movies are grey,silver and orange colours all of them are disguesting to watch.

Thing is,some superheroes DC have made are a little boring Like Superman,Supergirl,Green Lantern And yes,some are fun to see like Batman (love Batman) and the Flash But it’s true that Marvel have created amazing superheroes who always bring fun into both comics and the movie industry The reason we love Marvel heroes is that they are vulnerable and human-like,we relate more to someone like Spiderman than Superman I’d say DC’s characters would fit comics more,because their characters feel like myths and legends to fit in a book,and plus,Marvel being in the movie industry just can’t be beaten The MCU is one of the biggest Cinematic Universes in the world now,and that’s an acceptable fact

I actualy enjoy DC more than marvel, like the dark night, and the original superman, but and the dc comics, way better thanmarvel nowadays, but really? if anything marvel gets more on the box office and rottentomatoes over DC, and the DC shows nowadays SUCK!!, really, now arrow and the flash feel like the same show, but in like a bad power rangers way, legends of tomorrow is not good enough, and the only thing dc did right with their shows was gotham. and ALL marvel shows are great, daredevil, agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, jessica jones( wich for me is very similar to john constantine, one of the canceled great shows of DC) and Luke Cage.

Yeah they are garbage, but you can't put these two shows as the face of ALL these shows, gotham is very good, and constantine, and smallvile, they were good shows, but they really don't make the other shows look any better. Dc- animation( batman dark knight, batman ninja, batman lego movie, etc.) Becuz into the spider verse was released by sony pictures, sony should deserve all the credits in that animated movie( and by the way, disney owns marvel) but sony should deserve all the credits. Dc- tv shows Becuz theres a new dc tv series not CW related(doom patrol and the titans) are better than any CW dc shows, doom patrol beats daredevil in ratings, same peoples who are watching or liked it, and also has greater cinematography. Marvel- live action movies, merch and hero developments.

You should play Marvel's Contest Of Champions. It's graphics are very very very good (as compared to DC games) and it's also very addictive!
Why do we have to pick ONE favorite when we can ENJOY BOTH? I'm sure there are more fans out there who like BOTH than those who stubbornly stick to only one. I can enjoy both American comics (DC and Marvel) as well as Japanese extensive genres of manga. At the end of the day as long as I am entertained, I don't give a fuck about who made what. Entertainment isn't about brand loyalty, so don't limit yourself to just DC OR Marvel. Appreciate that they will always be in competition so that the audience can always have updated and creative contents

I'm a long time Marvel fan, ever since I was small the first hero that was introduced to me was spiderman, and so you can see why I was a long marvel fan let's say for 15 years, but tbh for the past year I'm starting to turn into a DC fan , I think that their comics are just better now in general and although marvel makes some interesting events be it Cosmic or earth based, I think that DC is the one winning when it comes to the amount of events being published in DC rebirth, its just crazy how busy they are leaving Marvel in the dust, I also think that DC right now, has the better art talent at its disposal.

Comic wise, DC is far more iconic because the have Batman and superman (not to mention villains such as joker). However, in numbers, I think marvel has more good characters; less iconic, but larger numbers of interesting characters. (I’m a marvel fan though, so I highly recommend you take that statement with a grain of salt) Movie wise though, I don’t care if you’re a DC or Marvel fan, I think we can all agree that Marvel wins.

Thats because DC tv shows doesnt need to have a connection to the dceu and most tv shows are old, the great ones are from the 90s and early 2000s.
Any Christoper Nolan movie is a masterpiece. I gotta say that The Dark Knight series was fucking amazing, but Captain America and The Avengers are some great ass movies.

For cartoons I give to DC ( though Marvel has had their fair share good cartoons like X-men the animated series , Spectacular Spider-man, Spider-man the animated series, etc.) , for games DC, for Movies Marvel ( DC still has The Dark Knight Trilogy.) . However for comics there's no clear answer for me because both companies have released masterpieces like Secret Wars and Kingdom Come and pieces of shit like Spider-man: One More Day and Amazons Attack, Really it comes down to what you prefer, if you want more relatable characters then Marvel, If you want more fantasy like stories then DC.

I like Batman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and THE JOKER is my favourite villain... Me and my fellow Marvel fans that I am friends with and just know don't hate DC, we enjoy watching their movies, reading their comics. But I personally think that Marvel is better now. DC is really losing now and SHUT UP about the Dark Knight Trilogy, it is OVER!!! Now, Marvel is really making good movies, Netflix shows, and personally, comics. Comics/animated series/animated movies/Television series/stand alone charecters/ is where DC kicks marvels ass.And people say marvel is better just because it has made some commercially successful movies

Amritansh Mishra I agree with you on pertaining to the animated movies and such; on most comics yes as well. But have you seen Daredevil, Luke Cage, Agents of Shield and Punisher?! You can't tell me you prefer watching Supergirl and Legends. Arrow is good most of the time and Flash is alright. Flash can get pretty corny. Legends is watchable. I only watch Supergirl however, to keep up with all the crossovers. I dislike how they nerfed Martian Manhunter, one of my favorite characters, and put him on the disgrace of a show called Supergirl instead of waiting to put him in Justice League.

Ernest Tche the live action TV shows are really just preference Some people (like me) Like the cheesy and corny shows. Cheesy and corny is what comic book characters truly are anyways

Amritansh Mishra Marvel has arguably better games too. The only good DC games I can think of are Arkham games and Injustice, but MvC >>> Injustice, so really just Arkham

Ernest Tche why is nobody talking about gotham? They have for me the best characters over There. Marvel Netflix series are overrated.. the Punisher is so good that i could even myself overrate the shows
marvel takes out all the seriousness from it's movies by cracking some cheap jokes in fights

Marvel characters act more human, and cracking jokes during a serious scene is a part of that. Imagine if you were Captain America in the middle of the battle at the beginning of Ultron. You know you'll probably die, so you desperately make a joke to ease your nerves, and your teamates nerves a bit. It's human. Sure it's not as thrilling but it's relatable.

Yash Sharma You made retarded statements without giving a valid counter. D.C. does try too hard to be serious and that's why their movies look like shit with zero color in them. Superman's suit is dark Navy and Burgundy instead of the blue and red they're supposed to be. Also it's called a comic relief, who want to go to an action movie feeling like they're watching a drama? Not me

Physics Land It's called comic relief. They have serious moments. Look at Logan, it has a serious tone and heart felt moments and you can really feel the emotions of the characters but there were still jokes in the movie that were actually funny at times and unlike D.C. They didn't sacrifice color to set a "darker" tone.
I like Dc because of the power rings and the lantern corps and i like Marvel because of the Infinity gauntlet and the Infinity Stones
