Yah they miss a lot for giving bonus xp n stuff for teams.. im playing this on wii ha and there is a lot missing lol . Still fun n lots to find ..but ya a lot of teams r missing from older versions. Crazy this came out in 2006.. I remember not liking it much on original xbox but I wasnt into rpgs n the game seemed small or idk .. but it aged well and I enjoy it now in 2019

@@israelbattle5997 Because they met their makers. Magneto for example, he was in the holocaust, and Nazi's killed his family in the comics, and he manifested his powers to escape. So Magneto met his maker, or makers, just like the rest of the characters in that team. :)

I liked playing as the Classic Avengers team and the Super Natural team. I also played as the Marvel Knights team but the first two were always my favorites. I had the PS2 version and I wish they included Colossus so I could play as the X-Men team. Hmm, seems like I should've played more as the Marvel Royalty team as my go-to characters were always Doctor Strange, Thor and Black Panther.

Fantastic Four was the go-to team for kid me too. They and the X-Men were the only team's I knew of at that time. This was before the MCU so I had no idea who idea who or what the Avengers were at the time. If I could go back tho I would've definitely started using Avengers & Classic Avengers.

hell yeah X2 is the best and most fun of all the RAVEN SOFTWARE games history in term of combat and mechanics and also for the way they refined it's concept into near perfection so sad it's concept was not truly and fully respect in MUA2,3 Honestly it all felt like a gigantic watered down in so many levels really miss truly good X-men games mate.. miss the days of X-MEN LEGENDS 1-2 Always say is been a crime to mankind and mutant kind that X-LEGENDS 3,4,5 Have never happened yet :(

Assassins is the most OP btw. With 60% credits earned, you'll be upgrading your heros abilities more than twice as fast. And plus, those are my favorite characters anyways so it was a double win for me

Black Phoenix Well Moon Knight was one of the console exclusive characters for the next-gen versions of the game. And Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Sabretooth, and Hulk were console exclusive DLC characters for the Xbox 360.

Blade so underrated

If I remember correctly, the team bounces I made playing this game were, Avengers, new Avengers, Femme fatale, and assassins.

I feel like The Main Team (Captain America, Spider-Man, Thor, and Wolverine) should have been called “Ultimate Alliance,” but that’s just me.

So many memories and the number of teams is crazy. Too bad they didn't include The Midnight Sons. 4 of the members are here (Ghost Rider, Dr Strange, Moon Knight, and Blade), but there is no announcement or special team gain.

New Avengers (spidey, cap, Wolverine and Iron man)were my first choice always throughout the 3 games

i'm playing this for the first time and using a bruisers team with cap america, colossus, thing, luke cage +15 strike bonus is good enough so far and i haven't had any problems by lacking a energy character or a flyer yet

I can't be the only one who thinks the animated series Batman is narrating when you select each character.

Nope the teams that are listed in this video are the only ones that can be made. I've put the aforemtioned characters on several teams in the PSP version but it didn't trigger a team bonus.

Although there are a few exceptions, they aren't the only characters that aren't included in some of the games team bonuses. Sabretooth and Wolverine aren't included in the arch rivals team bonus despite their well known rivalry. And Captain America doesn't qualify for the West Coast Avengers team bonus when using his US Agent costume.

No Doctor Doom and the Hulk are only playable in the X-Box 360 version if you bought the DLC. Alternatively, you can also play as them in the MUA X-360 Gold Edition. Other than that the guys at marvel mods were able to make them playable in the PC version of the game. But I've just checked and that original file is no longer working.

i didn't realise there was that many teams, btw double dates was funny

i was trying to figure out how to make 8 different teams out of the roster of 33 without repeating characters, heres what i got: 1. alternate identities - 5% criticals (ghost rider, spider woman, ms marvel, thor) 2. defenders - 5% dmg as health gain (doctor strange, iceman, silver surfer, hulk) 3. fantastic four - 20 health per ko (mr fantastic, invisible woman, human torch, thing) 4. martial artists - 15 striking (black panther, daredevil, moonknight, nick fury) 5. new avengers - 5 all resistances (cap america, iron man, spider-man, wolverine, luke cage) 6. rogue gallery - 10% reduced power cost (doctor doom, magneto, sabretooth, venom) 7. weapon specialists - 5% criticals (blade, deadpool, elektra, hawkeye) 8. x-men - 15% max energy (colossus, storm, cyclops, nightcrawler) there is probably more combinations or better bonuses but those are the ones i felt like doing

I have the Gold Edition for 360 and the Steam re-release and I don't remember the Hero Pack and Villain Pack characters saying what pack the character is from above their names on the character select screen. Interesting.

"friendly rivalry" for Cyclops and Wolverine is a stretch :P

My favorites are the New Avengers, Avengers, Martial Artists, and Agile Warriors. Along with X-men and New Fantastic 4.

My favorite team is SpiderMan Spiderwoman Daredevil Luke Cage SpiderMan web of Shadow and 90s anatmation style. Kinda wish they could add 5th one so I can add punisher with it from 90s anatmation. The memory before SpiderMan even on MCU.

I remember when me and my brothers picked the fantastic 4 and he actually said it lol we was so hyped this game needs a remake

SHEVCHENKOFAN18 we could thank to 21st Century Fox for putting their characters in the future game. (X-Men & F4)

I am still wondering if there is a way to unlock, Nightcrawler, Hulk, Sabertooth, Dr. DOOM, Venom, Hawkeye, Cyclops, Magneto, for PS3 only.

There's no way to do that

I'm surprised that after all this time no one has ever mentioned the secret characters hidden in the Game Menu at various locations (Stingray in Atlantis, Thunderbird in Murderworld, Son of Satan in Mephisto's Realm, Beta Ray Bill on Asgard and Mar-Vell on the Skrull world). It shocked me no end. Each also has a monstrous offensive, with Mar-Vell bringing his nega-bands together being the most impressive visually. Son of Satan's trident is also perfect for some situations as it drains Health from enemies and gives it to the team. Happy memories.

My favorite teams is FLASHBACK and Marvel Knights

One thing they should add is the thunderbolts that had red hulk, deadpool, punisher, elektra, and agent venom

I’d go solo with cap except for when I needed two characters. I’d grab spidey. Also spideys super power could sometimes glitch and trap the boss characters in a web and you could beat them up until there health is gone and have an easy win.

To be honest with you I'm not a regular reader of comics, so that was also my reaction when I heard that she was in the game. Having said that the original Ronin was a character called Maya Lopez. Who is deaf but has photographic reflexes which allows her to mimic other people's movements. In regards to this she has a power which allows her copy at least one power from a handful of characters in the game.

GubrobesTv Moon Knight was also Ronin in the Ultimate 1610 universe. Read Ultimate Spider-Man #106 to #110 for the full story

In my opinion, they dropped the balls with hulk fourth costume being joe fixit, shouldve been horsemen of apocalypse hulk. Do you agree?

HELL NOO. I love Joe Fixit, best and most interesting Hulk IMO.

Can we please get a remake that has all the characters from all previous versions with the extra packs as dlc? I'd love this game so much more

Oh ok yeah that would be great but I have to admit I really enjoyed the rosters from mua1 and 2. And I'm liking the roster that we have for mua3 so far.

That team bonus is for characters that have died before.

1:50 Can you imagine a DD like that? Plus weren’t Black Panther and ⛈ members

These characters are only officially on the PSP version. But if you can mod them into the original PC version of the game.

I don't know why but I had thought the voice sounded a bit more like the injustice 2 voice.... But then again I haven't touched the game in ten years.😅

Weird that Wolverine and Sabretooth aren't in Arch rivals
