This game is one of my all time favorites. It's such a shame that whoever holds the rights isn't having these games listed on modern platforms so many more marvel fans can experience this story and the story of the second game. For years now these games have faced hardships with licensing agreement issues, along with games like Deadpool and the fantastic Spider-Man SD and EoT games. So unfortunately they're now all unlisted from modern platforms. I am in no way surprised however. We faced these issues for a long time. The earliest I recall was around 2010, when the DLC for MUA 2 got removed from online stores and people made such a fuss over it (rightfully so) that they reinstated them on the store.

actually there was a update released for Marvel's Ultimate Alliance 3 which featured Symbiote Spider-Man, Miss Marvel, and the Gladiator Hulk ( the one from planet Hulk)

Yeah, and Deadpool's recolor for his default is clearly based off of his X-force outfit! Just with his Deadpool symbol on his belt instead of an X. And his recolor for his chef's outfit is really well made, too. It's clear that he's the only character they really tried at in terms of costumes pre-DLC

This was my introduction to the larger Marvel universe. I knew basic chracters like Spider-Man,Hulk, the X-Men and Ghost Rider (due to that shity ass Nic Cage film still a guilty pleasure of mine lol) but I didn't know they where in the same univese together. I blew my mind when I first got this game as a birthday present from my Grandparent's.

There actually was an Ultimate Alliance style DC game called Justice League Heroes. Sadly you were only limited to 2 heroes per mission and the roster was way smaller. You also couldn’t pick who you wanted for every mission due to how the story plays out, with a few exceptions here and there. It’s still a solid game however, I had my fun with it growing up, but it pales in comparison to any of the Ultimate Alliance games, or even the X-Men Legends games for that matter.

@@Exxzo Still does. It's like inflation, things get better but you have to match the standards in order to compare things equally. At launch 3 had crappy costumes. All these skins you see here are from the launch game of the gold edition. The only bonus skin we got in 3 was a Deadpool skin.

Feels like this game was a lot of people’s first introduction to marvel. Same for me. Such an amazing game. I remember my dad bought it for me as a last second gift when we saw it at the checkout isle at Walmart. He’s passed away now but I always think of him when I play this game, this game got me into marvel and we then watched all the mcu movies together. Good times.

It's not from his costumes, it's from the fact that he is still the Thing. It's a great reference to his early years when he wanted Reed to cure him from his condition.

I had the Wii version so I couldn't use Nightcrawler sadly. Planning to get the remastered version of this and MUA2 on PS4 soon though. Doctor Strange also had a teleport ability that was very similar to Deadpool and Nightcrawler's, except it was a power that you had to activate instead of his double-jump, but it was equally fun to use

The costume options here and x-men legends were the best. No need to buy one, no need to play n play, level up a character just to get 1 stupid costumes. Here it is easy to get the alternate costumes free. Those were the best days.

Whenever I play this game I always equip the classic costumes on all my characters because I like the classics I'm old school

in 2022 i still have this game on my psp, been starting to play it again after renewing the batteries and memory card on it

I really miss this game. This is among the first games that me and my bro’s played nonstop back in the old days when the XB 360 released. If we weren’t playing Halo 3 or Gears of War, we were playing Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. Good times, halcyon days my friends.

My older brother and I would play this alll the time, it was my first real introduction to the world of hero’s and after that I was just obsessed. Always played Storm and Spider Woman because I thought they were pretty 🤷‍♀️ also I can’t shake the feeling there was some really weird carnival part to this game

Yeah this game was a blessing after the X-Men Legends Series. Like I would of loved to see the X-Men, Spider-Woman, Silver Surfer, Fantastic 4, Deadpool and Blade (since Blade was the OG Marvel hero) in EndGame to make it more epic than it already was.

Surfer literally has no skins. Whoever developed those were trolling so hard.

Looking back, it's crazy how many now iconic costumes that came out after the game.

Alternate costumes are always a fantastic way to sneak in just a few more cool references and change up the aesthetic. Really hoping Black Order has some good ones as well.

I loved this game, it was incredibly funny and made me played over and over again.

I miss this game so much I use to play it on release date of Xbox 360

When I was a kid I used to play this game with my cousin, we finished it and I didn't even know that there is an option to change skins

I completely forgot about this game, this gives me a HUGE rush of nostalgia

For me it didn’t matter who was on my team, as long as Spider-Man was on there somewhere

I was never able to complete the game on the wii because my sister always used the only game or save cartridge for animal crossing so Everytime i played the game i had to restart from the very beginning.

One of the best games with a dope variety of characters

I remember playing this game on the Wii for Christmas back in '06 along with 6 other games! My main team was Spider Man, The Thing, Wolverine, and Iron Man.

Any skin with a healing factor was my favorite lol srsly it made life so much easier
