I LOVE how the villains all have their original costume designs, but with a few adjustments to make them look more "modern" and the adjustments work perfectly Electro's ridiculous mask from his original suit is now a hideous scar, which is a brilliant idea Rhino has a power armor much suit, but looks just like his comic counterpart mixed from his ultimate and original design, AND HE'S RUSSIAN. FINALLY A GAME GOT THAT RIGHT Vulture has a high tech wingsuit with an oxygen mask, which makes sense since he's up in the air and it makes it harder to breath, and his suit is designed just like his original costume, just replaced with metal instead of feathers and it works perfectly Now scorpion...he looks godly. The creepiness of how his tail moves like an actual bug, his original color scheme of green and those red beady eyes...he looks phenomenal and they kept the aesthetic of his original costume, bulky, green and a huge scorpion tail. Insomniac certainly respected these characters and will make fans and newcomers extremely happy

Now this is a completely overhauled, evolved, complex Spider-Man game to date this definitely outdoes Spider Man 2 on PS2. Even the transition between cutscenes and gameplay is so smooth that as soon as a cutscene ends your thrown right back into the action with no black screens between cutscenes and gameplay like in Ratchet & Clank PS4. And now with a brand new cinematic story that feels like your in a movie. This has got to be the best Spider Man ever made. But I hope Insomniac Games releases another Ratchet & Clank after this.

If u ever played the ps1 game out in 1999/2000 the enter electro game has a level where u have to crawl up the walls all the way to the top while getting spider sense from electro launching bolts from above, the part at 5 minutes reminds me all about that with spiderman running up the wall while sensing electro throwing bolts downwards, sweet callback now I just wanna see Doc Ock and Mysterio

I'm so glad I didn't watch any gameplay videos leading up to this game. They really don't hold back on showing story elements or characters reveals.

That's why I stopped watching demos few years ago, I don't know why they decided to spoil such incredible moment, but definitely it was so much more impacting not knowing that moment. I was watching jacksepticeye's playthrough and couldn't wait to see his reaction of this moment since he's a huge Spidey fan just to find out he actually knew about the moment because of that demo and my anticipation was ruined.

It isn’t Venom at the end because 1. There was light coming from whoever it was 2. You can clearly hear machinery 3. Bryan Intihar himself said they wouldn’t be doing anything with symbiotes. Venom is too important of a character to shove in along with 6 other villains
