The Spiderverse DLC might have been scrapped and substituted. It was probably gonna tie into that Spiderverse game, but since Sony scrapped it, Insomniac might have put in a new DLC pack instead. Maybe something that sets up Cindy Moon becoming Silk.

Agreed, when everyone was still speculating DLC, I thought it would be like the City that Never Sleeps with Carnage has an overarching narrative while Chameleon has a story through side quests in those DLCs like a less annoying version of Screwball.

When is the showcase expected to be?

The expansion pass needs to be like Batman Arkham Knight Season of Infamy with extra missions and returning villains like Fisk, Taskmaster, and Rhino while Spiderman still has the Symbiote as it brings out his darker side and causes him to become far more dangerous and explosive in rage. Spiderman battles Fisk and rescue hostages and at the same time, the Symbiote causes him to make reckless decisions by endangering the civilians. Taskmaster challenges Spiderman to test him out in his Symbiote costume. Rhino gets his rematch with Spiderman but he hasn't forgotten about their last fight in the beginning of Spiderman Miles Morales and the Symbiote causes Spiderman to get his revenge on Rhino. And also, Fisk, Taskmaster, and Rhino team up to take down Spiderman while the Symbiote causes him to become even more violent and unpredictable in a brutal showdown. I just submitted a request for that to Insomniac, not sure if it'll happen but fingers crossed

Season of infamy was the single worst "expansion" aside from azuras wrath. There was absolutely no depth to the dlc, just a bunch of side missions that required maybe 20 minutes of your time, each

Shouldve always been in the game..... seriously don't know why they decided to give Peter the Kumo suit when Miles is the one popping out Kamehameha's left n right... similarly think it's dumb that Miles got any symbiote suits when Peter's the one with symbiote abilities.... I mean yea sure they're Miles suits in the comics.... but at that point they should've just wrote the story around them both getting the symbiote, or just not included those suits.

Spider-Man 3 needs to be Arkham knight for Spiderman without some sort of bs like the tank stuff give us more combos similar to how stellar blade does it so your timing and combos mean something also add a sort of critical blow or strike so we can have some skill ceiling the second game is somehow more boring to play than the first due to lack of side content that isn’t monogamy bs we need races and skill courses for swinging something other than beat up guys. Just have some enemies that need to be webbed up to be kept down like ultimate Spiderman and make some more varied crimes like bank heists and random boss encounters in the city with a couple city spanning chases that end in boss fights with hydro man or anyone with fun new boss mechanics

Spider-Man 2 released too small. It’s an awesome game but could’ve been much longer. So any DLC expansion is welcome 100%, I hope this game gets a ton of expansion

Imma be honest I hated the ending everything else was super amazing

Being there’s only a story mode you would think dlc would be released soon after not after the game was beat in 2-3 days and not touched since its release week. Huge waste of money. I could have got the game.saved money and just got the dlc a year or 2 later when they drop it. I beat the game with no issues. Every update has givien the game glitches ,issues with outfits, just closing etc. they fix an issue with an outfit and cause 10 problems. I’m not even excited about the dlc anymore.they’ll be short and more of the same.for the wait we’re going through it should all be free and once beaten add missions or modes/other content or something to miles morales or Spider-Man..huge disappointment. The few days I did play and beat it were awesome.after that than what.0 more u can do and the repetition is dreadful with every side job being the same. Went back to Spider-Man remastered and although it doesn’t look as good It’s so much more well put together and keeps jobs interesting and different. Shoulda been delayed and released with all the dlc, than I’d wait for other dlc.the look,sound,gameplay,story is great,but there’s definitely people that beat it in one day. No other modes,even new game plus took long to release and at that point I wasn’t interested. U know the game has a few hours of story and nothing else and u still release it and make dlc we paid for take a year or more to come out.not even trailers or updates,it had to be leaked. 1dlc will drop and ill make a lot of money if I bet the others are 6 months apart

You can tell there's two other chunks on the Brooklyn/ queens side of the map that they're likely going to make playable but they should really save that for the next game that way they can add it as one of the new features.
