I think the delivery was pretty good. You talk in a clear and concise way and the clips help to illustrate points and maintain interest. You seem to have a good attitude and personality so I hope you keep it up!

Although Marvel Rivals may have a community, but I don't think it will surpass Overwatch 1 records, its may not even surpass ow now as many people would choose to stick with a game they are familiar with these days

I've been playing OW for 4 years and I'm one of those people who would like to find an alternative. Rivals looks promising to me, even if it's a 3rd person shooter. I'm really hyped. I'm just afraid of bad management, how often they will add new content and that they could sell very expensive cosmetics and stuff, so the people who wanted to play something different from OW will have no option but return to their original game. We'll see how long this game lasts!

We'll just have to wait and see

I think rivals has potential, but with Disney's grubby fingers on it they'll probably sap it for whatever they can get.

@@Blueslyfox it's funny because when I first seen the trailer, I commented "imagine playing hulk in 1st person" 😂 I bet I can even go back and find the comment but like what's wrong with a hulk that has a winston leap, melee similar to ram or rein and maybe some berserker passive or ability? Its gotta be way more fun than playing hulk in 3rd person for the 20th time, like seriously I bet I can go find hulk doing that exact jump animation frame for frame in like 2 or 3 other games and that's a very conservative lowball lol

Overwatch is still fun, but the switch from two tanks to one was a god awful design move

Personally? I prefer both games. I’ve grown so attached to the universe and story of Overwatch that I would like to see more of it outside of games as well, like an animated show, or books, anything. Marvel Rivals I will very likely play day 1, it’s Marvel, and I like the gameplay it’s got.

I dont know how to explain it but whenever marvel makes games they always uses some type of art style that just doesn't work id like to see it succeed but its probably just going to be like multiversus and fall off within the month its out

I think the artstyle shows pretty good promise in the clips I have seen so far. Very comic/ow2 esque

I loved Overwatch 1 but was bummed about the second one :/

I’ll still play OW. While I do like the lore in OW, I never cared for the campaign content. So I didn’t care about the broken promise. I didn’t like the way they decided to monetize the game but that was fully expected once Activision got involved. I still very much enjoy the core gameplay. But I wouldn’t be mad if Marvel Rivals does well either.

I still play ow but I hate blizz and activision for all of the shitty things they’ve done especially how Bobby fucked up pve and ow2 development which was confirmed by a blizz employee but I’m excited too for marvel rivals def gonna try it out but gonna take it with a grain of salt considering it was developed by netease who are known to be microtransaction warlords

Looking forward to Rivals. Gotta be honest though I think most of the Overwatch hate is a bit of a bang wagon people are jumping on. Not defending blizzard at all, and they’ve screwed up many things royally. But Overwatch is still very fun.

Yea plus the new norm for games is to be managed crappily, like d2, Apex and so many others. If you spend any length of time in any games community you'll soon realise every games like this besides a select few and tbh team 4 at blizzard are actually doing really good, I thought ow2 was cooked but s9 really stepped up and I'm enjoying the game alot again.

I don’t see the hype, tbh. And while OW2 has a lot of haters, it also lives rent free in their heads lol. They hate on it because they play it and wish it was better!

I'm pretty hype for Rivals. I'm still one of those cucks that actively plays OW2 and it's kinda hard liking a game with so many flaws and that's so hated. It's such a fun genre and I'm really hoping Rivals meets the potential.

I really hope so too! It would be nice to be able to move away from OW2 and who doesn't love Marvel :D I think if Netease doesn't muck it up with any p2w or anything it could be a great game!

I sure hope Rivals does well. I respect what Overwatch once was but considering just how monumentally Activision/Blizzard has failed with OW2, I think most people are just ready for something to replace it.

Dude you seriously said its competitor's failed because theyre a bit to different and than in the sane breath said this game looks like a clone when the art style is abysmal and its 3rd person? A game cant be in the same genre when theyre completley different povs, if we wanted a non fps overwatch we would just go play league or something, the charm of the game is that they took the classic 3rd person archetype of a double jumping ninja and put it in 1st person with genji, or they took the classic moba tank and let you actually play the pov of that tank with rein, so this is almost like counter productive if you seriously wanted to tap into the overwatch market because if overwatch was just another 3rd person game it never would have won game of the year, and as a 3rd person game youre competing with so many other 3rd person games that its crazy, and i get 1st person is hard to do but them not doing it is like putting one foot in the grave because if this game does well ill sell my nuts to an Ethiopian 😂 But it is sad because overwatch desperately needs competition and i was actually excited when it was announced as a overwatch like game only to be disappointed by the 3rd person and every content creator from the overwatch scene i seen talk about it bascially said the same thing that theyre sad its not 1st person, so i really wanted it to be good but thetes just no way it is when it looks like a mobile game on top of being 3rd person which the pov really just adds to the mobike look the art style is pushing

If every content creator wasnt comparing it to ow as well the devs obviously intending for it to seem like ow to get the same kinda hype palworld got, than I wouldn't say anything but it's being compared to ow as if this game has any shot at competing for OWS core fanbase. We need ow competition, and everytime the game is either focused on guns rather than abilities, has the wrong pov, or has spaghetti code, so despite all of ows major flaws, it gets to stay atop its genre, its bascially onna island alone with just the skeleton of battleborn, it's only other true competitor 😂 And so many crappy hero shooters have come up since that now people are just fed up with seeing hero shooters when that's just not fair because the only good attempt ever made at the a true hero shooter that is fps with the hero kits fixed so they can be wacky, drags its feet and doesnt have a clue on how to balance their game. Like concord is a game actually deserving of people calling it a potential ow competitor or killer even but because weve had so many crappy games get compared to ow as a form of marketing, everyone's just shtting on concord for the simple fact that it's a hero shooter, which is a shame because theres a reason ow is the only competitive fps to win game of the year and the formula has definitely not seen its peek yet given ow shot itself in the foot with a brig shaped bullet in its early years 😂

@@SandlerShephord Marvel Rivals has a huge shot at competing for overwatch's fanbase. A lot of overwatch players who have played marvel rivals said that they haven't had this much fun since overwatch's glory days. Marvel characters are way more popular than overwatch characters. Overwatch has remained on top because there wasn't an alternative hero shooter to play. But all that will change when marvel rivals releases.

Because if a game with a completely different pov actually caused issues for another game, it would probably be the first in gaming history, the only time I can think of a game even coming close to taking alot of another core games playerbase based on the game being similar but with a different pov is terraria vs minecraft, but even than I wouldnt say terraria competing or killed minecraft 😂 they have overlap as most games with similar mechanics do but minecraft's core fanbase play minecraft for the immersive experience that the pov gives there, and this is a fundamental truth for most fps games, fps enjoyers often enjoy the immersive experience, and that immersive experience is literally what gives ow its unique identity where the player gets to feel like the hero, for example when you play genji you genuinely feel like a ninja but when you play 3rd person games, it's more like you're controlling someones actions which it works in reverse too, 3rd person game enjoyers typically dont like 1st person and than you have people who enjoy both but what I'm saying is ow built its brand on the idea that you can play a double jumping dash character but in 1st person and really identify with the hero, so its core fanbase, the one that stuck around during the 3 year drought enjoy the immersive experience that having a 1st person pov gives inna ability based game like ow.

Rivals is NOT going to do better than overwatch LMFAO

As someone that plays ow2 I can confirm game is at a terrible state sense launch

This game isn't similar to overwatch at all, and the gameplay looks janky as shit, reminds me of a mobile game.

Of course overwatch is dogshit. We still play it though. But people still overwatch. I’m betting marvel rivals will flop.

As an overwatch fan, I can say that the game looks like shit. Even from the video you can see that there is no good gunplay here. Even if Overwatch isn't in its best state right now, this game won't even come close. This is a crap mobile game.

My thoughts exactly. OW2 might not be in the best state ever but it's not that bad - pve was cancelled, but would Marvel Rivals have pve? Probably not. Good luck beating OW in PVP aspect. That's hard copium that this mobile looking goofy game can get even trending. Everyone will try it for 1 hour and that will be it. OW has been balanced for 7 years - sure, a PVP game cannot be perfectly balanced, that's why metas exist, but good luck to MM being more balanced and with better PVP aspects than OW lol

This game will fail. Palidans had hope, it faiiled and is continuing to fail. Gundam Evolution had hope, it failed and shutdown last year. There will not be another Overwatch II or a better Overwatch alternative like Overwatch. Don't misplace your hopes, Marvel and Disney are far greedier than Blizzard, by a very very very long shot.

MARVEL RIVALS is gonna fail. Hard. Animation quality is stiff, combat looks like it has zero impact & feed back. Not interesting to look at or watch. OW2 is still a good game. It will take a lot to topple that. Not to mention NetEase is a far more greedy beast than Activision Blizzard could ever be.
