i really hope they change namor a lot. should be able to fly like a lot of other heroes can, and that defensive bubble maybe give him a shield after you get out of it.

I'm not fully convinced flying is even good in this game, it just makes you a target for the super strong hit scan heroes and puts a ton of extra unnecessary pressure on your healers, do agree with his bubble though your survivability on that is fully based on if your healers know they can heal you whilst you're in it, I find atm it's best used to prevent any damage but it definitely needs a shield, healing or even just let you dash out of it to get to safety

I like how he looks, but he definitely needs more movement.

Slow fall but not flight? Did they forget that he can actually fly? They could have made it look like the recent movie and it would be unique from the other fliers.

def they should have gave him a 3 triple jump in which he leaps upwards with his feet wings just like in the movies and then just glide down if u hold space

He’s literally the first flying hero in all of comics, and he can’t fly in this game 💀

I really thought he’d have at least one wave attack or water based attack and a winged feet dash/hover as well

@@Danticsyes uninspired is the perfect word, I like the trident basic attacks, but maybe the right click trident could have done some water splash damage to the surrounding area/players. His shield is very weird and seems kind of useless unless you’re about to die or need a vantage point, the turrets are actually good tho so those are fine as well as his ult

Controling sea creatures is more of an aqua man thing. I feel like he should be able to fly and dash around.

I believe hes only able to have 2 aquatic dominions out at a time. If you already have the 2 put, then summon the one from Luna, one of them disappear. Unless its a bug?

He seems to benefit from high ground a lot

Its just an odd choice of playstyle and abilities for Namor...Its like if they made Hulk a ranged character or made Starlord a melee character. Namor is a warrior and a king that is over a 100 years old who will do anything to protect his people (he's known as an antihero given his methods at times). He should have versatility given his combat experience. Aside from a telepathic connection with all sea creatures which he will call on and command as seen in his gameplay, he is incredibly strong. He is capable of going one on one with the Hulk (his strength will vary depending on his contact with water). He can also fly due to his ankle wings mutation. He plays pretty balanced with what he has but can only be effective at a distance. The character is a commanding front liner. He seems like the easiest to play but this is bad for him given the current roster of ranged characters (or even those capable of range) and more to come (Hawkeye, Black Widow, Winter Soldier, Human Torch). Seen some gameplay of him when enemy team gets close and he's pretty much done for. The Water Sphere can help but really just lines him up to be attacked. In all, not fitting for the character imo. It seems like they don't know him and weren't sure how to play him which is sad for any fan of his or someone new to the character. Definitely hope they revisit him. I'd say give him some kind melee so he can deal damage up close when needed or when you want to be more aggressive. Give this dude his flight since he can actually fly or move like the MCU version where he hovers and sort of skips/bounces through the air which was pretty creative. They need to fix his wings as well as he's missing two (Outside AND inside of feet/ankles=4 total). Lastly, maybe something tied to a water buff of some sort as he gets stronger the more in contact he is with water. Just my thoughts! Thanks for vid as he was the one I was most excited to see out of everyone!

Yeah, definitely seems like they were told they had to include latino Namor but wanted to squeeze a turret character in. Shouldve just saved the ranged turret kit for someone more appropriate like Ultron or something. Now that i think about it i guess this isnt the real Namor, its the movie Nahmor. So his kit can be whatever.

@@anon2752Movie Namor is what made me, and undoubtedly others, interested in the character. Comics Namor is cool, but drawed too many comparisons to Aquaman (regardless of how different they actually are). Casuals just see Marvel Aquaman.

@@glasspretender Honestly the way they make him pronounce his name is what pisses me off the most, its pathetic. Everything else is cool as an alternate version of him. I cant lie i like the mayan/aztec aesthetic. The way he says nahmore, and the cringe meaning behind it of "child without love" is lame.

@@anon2752 that’s also the same gripe I had with the movie. As someone who understands Spanish, I remember turning to my friend in cringe. But yeah i really love the aesthetic change, and I can’t wait to see more of him in the MCU

I just dont understand why they choose a character that in the comics has a lot of physical strength, flight, and speed yet they made him a minion summoner which makes no sense, im pretty sure Namor cannot command fish, thats Aquaman. Like we have potentially alot of people who can summon characters. Forge, Baron Zemo or Red Skull i would not be surprised if they summon hydra minions or something as turrents
