Man that angry Thing head screams John Byrne artwork. I may have to get it just for that head

I love these F4 retro! Those are the ones I will get.

The Walgreens is my favorite the wash really brings out the details!! Highlighting is okay, but add a wash to it and it will pop!

That’s exactly what I will do to the newest retro Thing when I do get it, and paint the pants in light blue and the black belt so I can make it into a Walgreens Thing. And eventually get the Super Skrull Thing to have the stern face Thing head and do the same black wash too

I actually prefer the two new Things to the Walgreens one… I definitely think the shading could have been better on the retro one… that’s the one I have. Even just more vertically down the abdomen would have helped a LOT. I get why most people like the wash on the Walgreens one… Hasbro seems to be going more with sculpted details and vibrant color schemes rather than the “grittier washes” if the Toybiz days. I guess for me the vibrant color schemes have more of a comic book and animated feel to the figures, which is what I prefer.

I love 'em all but if I had to choose I would go with the Walgreens....I love the wash on that one.

I have like two super skull things. I had to buy this one because he had open palms

As a pretty new collector I freaking love this Thing. He is a heavy one, dang.

You did head swaps, but I was wanting to also see open hands accessory swaps. :). Great review though!

Wish they did the foil style in the circle around the 4 like the original Toy Biz package 😔

All I want to see is: Vanguard, Charlie 27,Nikki, Starhawk, Aleta, Martinex and the Original Yondu plus, Gorgon, Karnak, Crystal and Triton along with Corsair, Hepzibah, Raza and Ch'od and Maybe Salem Seven and The Ufoes........

It's a good looking figure just let down slightly by that heavy highlight paint. An easy fix though. I have the Super Skrull wave thing which had the same though slightly better highlight paint. I gave it a wash of yellowish orange which toned it down, then a darker browny orange wash for the crevices. I like the brow ridge better on Super Skrull Thing, but he only has fists and one head sculpt. This has open hands plus another head sculpt. Options are alway good. Wish they all had bicep swivel.

I preferably like the walgreens exclusive Thing better than the super skrull wave Thing... But if I could've got the retro wave Thing instead, then it would be up in my display right now instead because I really wanted the animated series fantastic four for my display.

Wal-greens ex>Retro>Super Skrull Wave...some say they missed on the Wal-greens, is wasn't overflowing, but they had fair supplies, if someone missed it, that's on them for stalling.. this figure isn't a bad substitute.

I have the Walgreens one, but it was a pain in the butt to find when it was out. I had to go to at least ten different Walgreens before I found him, then did that again for Silver Surfer. Walgreens stocked the variant Namor and Unredeemable Ant-Man quite well, but every other Marvel Legend has been a needle in a haystack with them. I've never seen the Moon Knight in any store.

@@benjaminwiseman6567 sorry to learn that bro, guess, depends on area, I live in suburban Atlanta, so we get stocked, but I guess we have less collectors, except the store managers themselves, 😅..but I saw MK in all of our 4 stores. maybe were just lucky..

@@gerrysabron I'd guess fewer collectors in your area. You'd be the first I've met from Georgia. Marvel is NYC-centric and inherently liberal, so less appeal in red states.

@@gerrysabron I find 3 of them at my local Walgreens on the first try. I didn't even know he was out so I can't say there was a stall on him.😄 Plus the Thing is my fav. of the 4 so easy pickup.

I hope I get these. Will definitely remove the highlights ang give him a wash

I really like the colors on this figure, though I don't really care for the wash on the chest, arms, and feet. But that "neutral" head just looks so dopey to me.

Yep the dopey head is going into the box and won't see the light of day

So I live in Washington and my dorkside order is still pending. I don't know what country you live in but do you think that my dockside ff will ship soon? I still haven't gotten my AOA wave 2 from them either

I hope Hasbro give us a Thing with the walgreens deco in a non exclusive line.

I don't look the open-mouth head, he looks weird without teeth.

Running away from this one. Me no likey the paints or either face

not impressed. the heads are the only supposedly selling points for this version, and they do not look that great. disappointed.
