Whew- that Susan terrifies me.

I have these preordered and I’m still gonna get them because I need a Sue but yeah that head sculpt looks like a throwback to the toy biz/early Hasbro legends and not in a good way. Very underwhelmed but I need a full FF set and that Thing and Johnny Storm look awesome.

I really hate the salad fingers hands too. I really wished he had and an extended arm with a large fist. The Super Skrull has a long arm, why can’t he?

Idk why they feel the salad fingers used a great idea for Reed... the extended arms alone is a cool enough attachment, I'd like one for the waist as well, just have a peg on the wait (Camnonball) dor a waist extension

Use the Emma Frost head from the figure with the black costume on Sue, it looks really great.

Maybe the Sue head sculpt is based on the sculptor's Asian wife or girlfriend?

I had the same thought that this Sue head is more Asian looking. I can see reviewers avoiding that comparison in case anyone gets triggered, but thought at least one reviewer would've made the comment by now (maybe there was a mixup and an Asian character head was used for this Sue by mistake in mass production?). Hopefully they do offer an alternate head accessory down the line somehow.

@@Emeraldnite-if7vo I don't really find the head sculpt ugly. It's just placed on the wrong character. Sue is supposed to be a beautiful blonde Caucasian. Placing an Asian looking head sculpt would put off people. Putting this head sculpt on an Asian character would be more acceptable.

I don’t hate the Invisible Woman head, definitely the worst of the 3, but to me this is how the Fantastic Four are supposed to look to me personally. My introduction to the Fantastic Four was the Toy Biz figures so I’ve been wanting these. I do wish we got those long arms instead of the “salad fingers” which I too really kinda dislike.

As long as the check on Mr Fantastic isn't painted a tiny spot of clear nail polish then rub it off with a q tip will take off that paint spot and any other unwanted marks just be sure your only doing this on bare plastic

I was so hyped for this wave bc I missed the walgreens figures. But God damn these turned out to be a such a let down. Saw them at Walmart the other day and passed.

Would you be able to compare the new Mr. Fantastic with the white Mr. Fantastic released a few years back (Ronan wave)? I would love to see if those arms match with this new Mr. F (similar to the way the WE version is)

Excellent review, I feel you have been more objective in more recent reviews, pointing out criticisms more clearly and I appreciate that. I love these figures just wish Invisible Woman's face wasn't as ugly. You described exactly what is ugly about it.. They kept the Mr Fantastic headsculpt so don't see why they didn't keep the invisible woman's headsculpt, especially if you aren't going to improve it.

That IW face is horrifying, which is a shame because the Walgreens one had a head that sat too high on the neck. Personally, while the white is what the team had on when I was growing up, I prefer the black on the others as that is what Kirby did.

i never understood the salad fingers for mr fantastic. wouldn't it be a lot better if the thumb was also extended along with the fingers? Also the elongated arms that came with the Walgreens Mr. Fantastic are so much better

I would still like to see a arm swap with the Ronan wave Mr. Fantastic and comparison with the marvel universe Galactus.

I hope the eventual She-Hulk FF figure comes with an alternate IW head ....

These figures could be awesome if Hasbro would just try, same thing with Johnny, I wish they’d get the 80th anniversary treatment, all new sculpts with appropriate and ample accessories. But no we get the same old body molds every time. (Admittedly they did do a good job on Thing though).

I never liked all of the Invisible Woman head sculpts but the Walgreens is my fav. At this poor attempt they should’ve just used Ms Marvel even though I’m tired of that sculpt.
