That last photo of Reed covering Sue's face had me LOL

The thing about collecting Legends over other lines is you really do get a chance to complete other shelves. This Human Torch, even without the android head, will slide into a growing Invaders shelf(or a Wca), you can port one of the last two Things into a West Coast Avengers shelf, (same with Sue and Reed onto an Avengers lineup) There is nothing wrong with getting multiple versions of characters if you can justify it. I'm still waiting on Pirate Thing to add to my Pirate shelf (which should also include A nightcrawler, Corsair and of course Deadpool)

The head sculpts alone makes me happy that I pre-ordered this wave. At first I was seriously considering just ordering the Psycho-man and High Evolutionary and maybe the Torch, but I'm glad for the thing and Reed with a coat.

I guess the Walgreens Fantastic Four figures still stand as the best ones.

I mean Human Torch here is best Human Torch, Walgreens ha Bucky Cap mold Torch.

I never was able to track down the Walgreens Human Torch. This one will do.

@@ethan123p4 I disagree. The Walgreens Invisible Woman head is better IMO. The Super Skrull Invisible Woman head is really cool in theory, but I don’t think the hair looks very natural the way it’s permanently out like that. It’s super cool for action shots, but it looks awkward in pretty much any other type of shot lol

I gotta say that these designs of the Fantastic Fantastic that John Buryne created is what got me into reading Fantastic Four along with the villains of them, Also these FF Retro and Walgreen's are better than the 2018/19 versions because I don't like the suits more than these even though I said that already, But still, Jack Kirby and John Buryne deserve the credit.

Debating on getting the Thing again since I have the Walgreens and Skrull wave. Walgreens is the best. But I like the new headsculpts too.

I missed out on the Walgreens exclusive so I'm glad to have these.

This Torch is easily my favourite! Straight outa the comics!

I ran into both of these guys and the Invisible Woman at Target last year on Black Friday and got all 3 for $15 each! Not bad at all

So nice to watch a regular KZread video, never change Shartimus .

The Thing is one of my favorite heroes but I don’t want anymore cartoon looking figures of him, they look ok but these are a pass for me

if you want a wash on that Thing figure try using black or brown shoe polish and then lightly wiping it away with a paper towel, you should be able to wipe away the surface and leave the wash in the cracks. (test on a hand or something to see if you like it.)

I am glad that I was able to pre-order these. I missed the Walgreen's exclusives, and I passed on the modern versions. These are the Fantastic 4 figures I waited for.

So happy to get the chance to get The Thing without paying at least double the price like the Walgreen’s version currently goes for. So thanks for the heads up as I would have probably missed this one too (I’m not a marvel figure collector so do not go out of my way to see what’s coming out etc, but I do love certain characters, and just have single figures here and there.) Love the new head sculpts and simple blue pants (I can easily do a crevasse wash on him.)

The retro Fantastic Four wave is my next gradual purchase. This review was the clincher. I like the Thing (my favorite of the FF) and new Human Torch. Tbh I love the Walgreen's exclusive Fantastic Four better especially the Thing but I want to have the retro wave on card. A "fiery grimm" review, "fantastic" as always, Shartimus.

It's frustrating that these figures could be the best fantastic four if Hasbro made the corrections you pointed out. If Human Torch was orange, included the Android head, maybe a new flame effect, and if The Thing had the black wash that the Walgreens Thing has, then these would be Must gets. Meanwhile, Invisible Woman should have a prettier face sculpt, they could have used one of their previous versions as both are much better, plus throw in another invisible effect. Mr Fantastic should have had the long arms as accessories.

Another marvel legends collector on KZread called "xcorpeo" did a tutorial on how to give the Thing a dark wash. Also, I would like to see a comparison with the Ronan wave FF and Marvel Universe Galactus

If I didn't already own the walgreens exclusive Thing and Human Torch, as well as the Invisible Woman and Mr. Fantastic, I would get them. But because of expenses and that horribly botched invisible woman head sculpt... I'm going to pass and be happy with what I have. 👍

Being a first time collector, I'm excited for these. The walgreen ones are pretty cool (my preferred ones) but I'd rather get these then overpay rn

I've been fortunate enough to have all the looks for the FF from Hasbro and I must say.. Walgreens Exc. are awesome, first appearance suits for sure. But the white collar, gloves and boots are my jam! Been waiting for these looks since completing the first wave. And not disappointed, except for Sue. But with two other heads to choose from it's really no bigs. All in all I've been all in for the Fantastic Four and will continue to be. They're my favorite Marvel team period!

I love the poses you used for the spinning section close to the end.

I'm glad they both have other hand options. All figs should have multiple hands in differing poses and extra heads.

I prefer this new torch over the Walgreens one. Just ordered him today.

My sue storm's face came out with pretty good paint apps so not much complaints on that end.

Since I couldn't get the Walgreens versions, I will be definitely picking these up and have a mish-mashed F4

I only ordered the Human Torch to replace an older Toy Biz Torch as my Jim Hammond Original Human Torch. The older one I can now use as Toro in my Invaders!

After having the thing in hand I'll say it's a great figure definitely worth the 22 bucks. Only gripe I had was the fist hand were weirdly small like they took it from another thing figure 😅 other than that pretty dope!

Just finished my fantastic 4 set so excited. Really hope they make a retro SilverSurfer. I do like the orange on the other Human Touch

If you heat up the Select head, you can get it onto the Retro Human Torch! I have mine displayed as Jim Hammond with the West Coast Avengers!

The Age of Apocalypse Ice Man would make a perfect mold for the Android Human Torch .

That AoA Sunfire sculpt with the Iceman face would be a perfect Android Torch . Then you need a Toro . Maybe a Invaders line will come out . A Howling Commandos . I'd love it .

Hey collectors. paint the Thing in a brown acrylic paint and dab it off before it dries and it will look like the Walgreen's . figure. It goes into the cracks and takes away the yellow shading line. . I have been making this comment in a few You Tube reviewers to pass the word around. Very easy , cheap . And it works, guaranteed

Missed out on the Super Skrull wave and kicking myself over it. Considering getting this wave to replace it but I honestly don't like the body used for Johnny Storm, if this is supposed to be the FF as they just started their careers I wish Johnny had been on a younger/lankier/teenage body. Also I can't deny that Sue face looks... off. Her cheeks look way to flared out so her head looks like a pear shape imo.

You can get a heatblast from Ben 10 reboot, it comes with a fire ball for the human torch that, I think it would look very cool

So frustrating. I have the Walgreens FF figs and between Reed's arm swap, Ben's awesome black wash, Johnny's better deco, and Sue having way better face deco, being partially translucent and including Herbie, they are superior figures than the Retro set, but the costumes of the retro set are my preffered version.
