I think the problem with Madame Hydra isn't even related to her but the limitations of the Shriek body, you can only reuse that body so many times before it too becomes stale and people are starting to get tired of that one as well. I wish Hasbro gave the females just as much variety in body types as the males.

Hot Take: The classic Hydra figures from the Brood wave are way better than the ones we got post-2012.

With all these releases, it further reinforces how much I've missed in the comic world.

MCU - thanks for the fantastic review. Knowing that the ML brand likes to load their waves with products that are "fillers", this one takes the no-prize. Anxiously awaiting a Mme. Hydra to complete my Hydra army, it looks like I bought myself Hasbro's 2022 version of Sue Richards. Well I hope it paid for the King Thor I got too!

I don't have many legends figures but I ordered it and I love the look, we'll see if I agree when I get it in hand. Why do they have to release everything at once after months of nothing? Knull, spinneret, iron spider and a few more trying to hit my account now. Not sure what to cancel 🤬😩

Technically the women buck doesn't need change and some got news body... the only change are pinless arms and legs which they give to Madam Hydra similar to Hill/Quake.. still waiting on my controller wave only got Iron-Man and Speedball

I was typing up my comment the comment while I was watching the video, and you literally said all of the things I wanted to. This figure is a sad release and definitely nowhere near worth the money, but do I pick it up anyway because we won't get another figure for another 10 years? It sucks to be put in this dilemma, when you've been waiting for a figure to get released because you like the character and want them represented in your collection, but then the release is subpar. Is it worse to have a bad figure of a character in your collection, or for you to not have that character at all?

I think they said when we get a figure on an old body it's because the figure was in production way before the other ones in the same wave. I kind of get it but still they need to plan way better than this

It's because they usually only have enough molds to use it on one figure at a time, so if they're planning to produce two figures in parallel at the factory they have to use different molds. Quake and Madame HYDRA must have been produced at the same time so they had to use different molds for each.

My guess is they didn’t use the same body because it would feel like the same character 3 times in the wave

I can understand in a wave for new parts they have a budget but I don’t understand why they can’t use the same body mold in a wave. I don’t think it would cost them anymore to do so.

I appreciate your explanation for why the colors don’t match, however that doesn’t excuse Hasbro for doing it. That just means that when they produced these, they realized the color differences and chose not to do anything about it… and the painting things on one side, but not the other or painting the front of the figure but leaving the back unpainted?? That’s SO lazy and cheap, ESPECIALLY with the price increases!

Just a lazy ass release. Whats next? Hollow holsters? If a figure has some hair on their face, dont paint the eye underneath? I'll wait until it drops to 50% off. Not worth the retail price. You are right there's a reason why they gave us this body, they want to screw consumer by having them pay $$$ for an old mold. Nuff said.
