People's problem with this figure is not only is the articulation is very limited for a SPIDER-MAN figure, it's that this figure is not last stand spider-man. It's the 'gamerverse' version of said character rather than the comic version, himself. That alone is baffling considering the box art is clearly advertising the comic version of him.

The biggest issue with this figure is the proportions. In ASM 500 (where this guy originally appears), John Romita Jr. drew him as being way girthier (comparatively) than his regular Spidey design. And it makes sense, because he's supposed to be at least middle aged if not older + in that appearance he straight up manhandles several SWAT guys.

Also considering the jacket and such, couldn't they have just reused their Spider-Man noir body from like a few years back? You want to talk about laziness, they could have made a better figure by retooling an older one instead of making a whole new mold that doesn't work.

@@AnthonysCustoms Respectfully, has the eyes from the game, and the sculpted detail of a seam going down the mask that like stops right around the eyes just like the alternate suit from the PS4 game, it didn't quite look like that in the comics. I mean overall it's not a big issue or anything, the bigger issue is Hasbro's laziness. I mean bro at my local Walmart this thing's on clearance for like 20 bucks, and now I'm thinking that's the price I would have paid for this thing only a few years ago. I don't even want to outside for maybe the head, I'd rather save my money by the lizard wave Spider-Man noir, then buy another one so I can make it into a Last stand Spider-Man custom. I mean that's still wouldn't be perfect, but it would be better than what Hasbro gave us.

Q of the Day: Zero interest. My prime comic reading years were 1974-1983 and 1997-2002. If I’m unfamiliar with the character, the figure has to be pretty striking for me to want to get familiar with the character and pick it up. I’d love to know what percentage of Marvel Legends and DC Multiverse collectors still read comics. Better yet, I’d like to see a graph of when those collectors stopped reading comics. I”m guessing that graph would peak in the early to mid 1990’s, but who knows.

One of the things that's been bugging me about Hasbro is their unwillingness to do good things more than once. This guy has possibly the best waist ball peg, he even has a double jointed neck. Tombstone from the same wave has a waist ball peg, but it doesn't work, he has a neck joint that also doesn't work, and there is no head articulation. But he has ball hinge ankles... The decisions they make are just so inconsistent

What ultimately killed this figure for me was both the lack of torso articulation and, more importantly, the lack of accessories. It's got other problems, but those I'm willing to overlook. They need to stop with those tiny ball looking shoulders that definitely looks stupid
