It would be super fucked up if it was just Steve Rogers head being kept alive by the Hydra Stomper suit.

I'm still happy with original Hydra Stomper, I like it's retro design. I would buy the updated one when/if it's sold as a standalone figure not a BAF. Too many figures in the range that I don't have an interest in getting.

My theory on why it is smaller is because it’s more like the mk1 iron man armor and that’s why it comes with the steve rogers head

I'm guessing this must be Rodgers updated Stomper suit. Smaller, tougher and full of modern tech.

I usually heat up BAF pieces in hot water before building, had two BAFs break trying to force pegs in. Overall its a cool figure, but prefer the original. Perhaps they should have just rereleased that one with an alternate head.

My bad that Kingpin is nice and can be used for other things, and I do like the Goliath, very spaceman suit vibe.

My theory for the new Hydra Stomper. No Steves arms and legs aren't in the stompers arms and legs like the Iron Man suit. Assuming it's accurate to the show, could be Steve is the suit. He may be attached to the suit like Bucky's arm is attached to him. It's an extension of him. I need to see the new one in action. The new one is kinda plain and it's like "What if they made a man sized Mech Suit, some kind of Iron man".

The second hydra stomper got streamed line and shrunk down huh. No wonder it felt off aside from Gatling guns.

Now they have a mold for Red dynamo the classic one.

Maybe he's like in a robocop situation where it's just his torso and head and the suit is keeping alive idk

Season 2 comes out around Christmas time

The Kingpin head sculpt is nice, but the figure itself is trash. Gamora is probably my favorite in the wave.

I hadn't looked closely at this version and assumed it was the same sculpt. Honestly a bit shocked to see so much new molds created for this one. Interesting with how much they talk about needing to reuse molds.

Plotwise, the bigger one is better. One of the coolest thing in the series was Captain Carter on the stomper’s back.

Hydra stomper bomper boo- Lol, sorry dumb play on words to a dumb old saying, I dig this a lot, it makes sense as a mark 2, A sleeked down upgraded version. Just visually awesome for folks who dig that old art deco retro rocketeer type, iron giant type badass stuff. For me it's the only reason to buy the other figs, I would love to own it. Maybe one day I will buy it loose complete. Awesome review!

This Hydra Stomper is not kinda much, but it's pretty good

The new Hydra Stomper looks cool, but the articulation seems poor. Steve's head seems like a good sculpt, though next to Peggy's it looks a tad small.

I feel like it's like the Iron Monger. Dude works the armor from the center & the rest is just armor bot, but I'm hoping he's the "Winter Soldier" in that universe.

Hydra Stomper is more like a Mech than a Suit the way it was designed...

Don't care for hydra stomper or any of the what if characters. But this baf would make a cool mcu mark 1 iron man suit. Or even a model 2 comic homage and paint it in gold.

I don't get what the point is to give us another Hydra Stomper. I think Gravik with interchangeable parts would have been more appropriate.

I may have missed it, buy where did you get this wave from?

I picked up the whole wave just for the stomper, but MAN that Stomper head is small. Yelenas big head is the same size as the stompers helmet (bigger with the hair). Who is doing proportion control over there? You dont believe me? Take off yelena's head and put it on the stomper. Proportions actually look better.

On my case, the worst is Goliath, and the best is Agatha. That Steve head looks cool on that BAF, kind of an Iron Man Steve.

The shoulders of Gamora are very disappointing. Barely in mobility in them. I like the design.

No totally in with this wave, I had high expectetions but ended really disapointed

All I wanted from this wave was Gammora. The BaF is ok, but the design and size isnt nearlybas good as the season 1 version. Having the head on their just looks odd.

It’s look cheap the older one is better imo

Inferior design and figure apart from the Steve head. They really overestimate the desirability of this baf to encourage buying a full wave, especially when the figures are so poor in the accessories department and some are pretty mid to begin with. Fisk, Yelena and Agatha all should have got multiple heads. If they’re going to keep diving into the shows they should do a multi-wave bag of a what if Karkanos, perhaps 8 identical large articulated tentacles across a wave and then a central body and bespoke stand split into another 6 or 7 pieces, around the overall size of what Sugarman was. This would be a winner and justify utter traffic cones like Fury
