    If it's glue on the torso seam, has anyone tried subjecting it to below Zero temps? I didn't find any info though. Thing is working in a store's Frozen Dept I learned most all glues fail at temps well below zero unless made special. Often times a jolt would cause the glue to shatter.

    Awesome tutorial! I hate opening up figures, %90 of the time I get the plastic warped, not sure how you guys do it so perfectly lol also, was wondering if that black/white priming actually create shadows for you? I tried it many times but my paint seems to just cover up those details and feels useless priming it that way.

  • @LifewithBrock

    @LifewithBrock

    The priming definitely helps. I use an airbrush so I’m able to build up light layers layer and the priming does affect the color.

    @@LifewithBrock yes I mean I primer the figures after long time of joint prep, but I use that black to gray to white shading technique, but I always end up coloring the whole figure and the shade does not show. Unless I'm doing something wrong? Maybe just use water downed paint to keep the shadow effect?

    @@LifewithBrock Ah, it was a Red She-Hulk, Everything popped apart easy after boiling but when I got to the hip joint and it wasn't giving in, I knew had to crack it. Took 3 quarters of Titans vs Chiefs before I finally cracked it open. I had no idea what it looks in the inside (1st time cracking) so I drilled on the crotch and 4 more spots along the seams, damn thing wouldn’t t crack. Had to scratch that glue line slowly until I could wedge two knives in to split it. Didn't know old hips were done like that. Glad the new female bodies have ball joints.

    Man after watching this video? And to a figure getting open up is giving me? A heart disease. But it helps collectors to custom there old figure to make new wons. I always thought? They would just re-colored the body without opening them off.
