marty friedman with jason becker is the best form i ever known - Cacophony!

It's interesting that even though 90s saw the decline of metal in mainstream music because of grunge and all, Megadeth still went on to reach their peak commercially and creatively. IMO.

Besides EVH, Marty Friedman is another one of my favorite guitarists!!!

When you play just a fucking note and the crowd goes crazy, you know that... you are Marty Friedman

This is the perfect example of how improvising slow and well thought out melodies (especially if you use lots of bends) on the guitar, get a better reaction than playing fast, crazy licks all the time. But there’s always a good time to play fast so don’t stop learning how to play fast people, just know that playing slow is just as important.

Always my personal favorite of the 80s guitar shredders. Marty's style really enabled him to stand out from the pack. Truely a gifted musician.

Marty Friedman's solo albums Introduction and Scenes are both excellent. As far as great metal guitarists go, listen to Black Sabbath and Ozzy with Randy Rhoads. Pink Floyd and Dire Straits aren't metal, but they also produce lots of great solos.

I remember those old VHS or BETA tape recorders. Thankfully we have digital HD now. LOL

Japan embraced Marty. At least, someone recognizes a talent when see it.
