The time of Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert was brilliant. They were amazing to watch regardless who they played, but especially when they played each other. Thank you and mad respect

Martina and Chris both were the two greatest of all time!❤
Martina Navratilova has a total of 354 titles (singles 167, doubles 177 and mixed doubles 10). I can't imagine anyone ever beating that. There's no one, male or female, that even comes close to her number of titles.

Such a positive impact on the game. Beautiful shots making. So talented. Made the game so much more interesting.
Martina is my undisputed all time hero (I am Czech-born Canadian), my contemporary and I wish her well as I did throughout her career. Bravo, Martina!

@@brentinnes5151 The top five are Martina, Chris, Steffi MArgaret, and Serena. That's the order I put them in, but there's an argument for any one of them as the GOAT.....Martina won the most matches, and the most tournaments, by a considerable margin. She also had the greatest PEAK, losing only ONE match in 1984, and only six in a three year period. And she did this when the competition was getting tougher and tougher, as the sport was going international. and the money was very good. Her winning percentage was lower than Margaret, Chris and Steffi, but not by much. Margaret dominated the first half of her career as an amateur, and won 11 of her slams in Australia, where SOME of the top players didn't go. Martina and Chris won "only" 18 slams each, but each skipped ten slams at their peaks, because other tournaments were more important at the time in establishing the pro women's tour.
Loved this interview. She has such a beautiful smile that she should display more often.
Give Martina her flowers!!!❤
What a great person. Martina defines what it means to be a Warrior. I love her and what she stands for.
A legend in tennis, no doubt!
Martina navratilova is my favourite player of all time, I remember I use to run home from school when wimbledon was on just to watch her play. Martina you are the GOAT in my eyes.
i lived with my grandmother who was Czech when i was a teen and would stay home to watch Martina rather than go out with my friends as I was watching history and my grandmother was very proud
She is a very brave soul..
I have always loved Martina… but watching this it’s much more…. I am her die hard fan !
courage and an international sporting icon
i always loved Martina. first saw her at the US Open back in 1983
Martina was the first tennis player (male or female) to utilize cross training as part of their fitness regimen. She was hitting the weight room at a time when other women on the tour weren't so much as doing dumbbell curls. She was playing some very physical basketball with Nancy Lieberman, a standout point guard from Old Dominion, who played a VERY physical game at both ends of the court. This cross training gave her amazing stamina and she was able to outlast any opponent that was able to win a set from her (especially in 1982-1984). She made other players have to raise their games by also hitting the weights, and pursue different types of exercising which improved their stamina as well. She got her body fat percentage down to 8.8%(!!!) during her prime years, and helped to inspire up-and-coming players to take a similar route with their conditioning. Truly an amazing athlete and a remarkable person as well 👏
Martina Navratilova is a wonderful wonderful person in all ways!
Love that he covered her victory at Wimbledon in mixed doubles at age 49. For my money one of the greatest accomplishments in modern sports that sadly almost nobody knows about. Billie Jean King was a titan in evolving women's sports - Martina is right behind her in my judgement. Just an incredible woman.

What an amazing woman. Total respect for Martina.
May fav player of all time! Her serve and volley style is unbeatable
Thank you!
For me she IS the greatest female player of all time,, with respect well above Margaret Court., who is a Xenaphobe...she overcame so many obstacles and criticisms, one that always springs to mind from Chris Evert who infamously said in 1980 or 1981 "Martina wont get her tennis together until she gets herself together' or something like that. (she certainly did get it together very quick but she wasnt half bad before that either.)....You could not meet a nicer person in Tennis they all say the same thing about her. After the 1975 AO final against Evonne when the Australian breaks down at the presentation ceremony at the loss of her Aboriginal Father Kenny Goolagong (also here on KZread) you can see a hand coming out of nowhere to rub Evonnes back, and thats Martina, thats what type of person she is, she cared about her opponents and I always hope she is happy, and it seems she is, and she loves her rivals, Tracy, Chris, Billie Jean and Evonne (in particular) and that 1978 Semi final at Wimbledon against Evonne that ended is such heartbreak for all concerned will forever be etched in my memory, partly because she absolutely cared xoxo the GOAT of Womens tennis in my honest personal opinion xoxo

I saw a lot of her matches when she was older and she appeared to be very serious, almost untouchable. Now i know she was just mentally on top of anybody else and a true dedicated professional Tennisplayer...just like Lendl was.
Saw her in mid 80’s. She said, “damnit!” When she popped a string on a racquet she wanted to use. Humanized her for me instantly and she’s awesome

When you take all 3 disciplines into consideration; she is the GOAT. And it’s not even close. They skipped over her playing singles in 2004 and getting to the second round of Wimbledon at age 47.
