    The amount of talent in that room is mind boggling. Three absolute powerhouses that have each in their own way shaped the landscape of comedy and touched so many people. If you were to tally up the amount of laughs each of them have evoked, I'd have to assume it would be a number so big you wouldn't even no how to pronounce it. 500 gabagoolion laughs.

    I attended McMaster university in Hamilton in the 1980’s a few years after Martin Short was a student there. Part of the first year psych course was video clips of various conditions with Marty acting them out. They weren’t meant to be comedic but they were still hilarious. He would have filmed these more than 40 years ago and he still looks about the same.

    I will never be able to get enough of Martin Short. I about had a heart attack when they first announced OMitB, then again when they announced season 2 and again with season 3. I LOVE him and Steve's dynamic. Martin Short is easily the best talk show host guest. He just murders it. And him roasting Steve at his award ceremony had me crying. God bless him.

    I had the awesome experience of seeing the show at Caesars Palace they are referring to. They don't advertise who their guest appearance is going to be before the show, so seeing Conan walk out was one of the greatest surprises of my life. The tickets were probably one of the best birthday gifts of my life from my wife!

    I hesitate to bring this up because it obviously shouldn't define his later career, but I was absolutely touched in seeing how Martin Short dealt with the loss of his wife. He handled it with such grace, humility and with such gratitude to his partner. It really moved me.

    Yeah, he's perfect for "Only Murders." (Or maybe it's perfect for him.) I think it works so well because the other characters act as a foil to Oliver's ridiculousness. So if he's occasionally annoying or egotistical, the show is aware of it.

    I would pay to have dinner with Marty and Conan together. They have a special chemistry together. Martin is IMO still tremendously underrated as an all time great comedian. Bring Ed Grimley back we need him now more than ever! And Steve Martin an all time great and HOFer also. Respect - and laughs - to them all.
