@@AlanRoyHocking I bought them this morning, I can't wait for them to arrive so I can try them on my Maton guitar. I always play the guitar with d'addario and ernie ball strings.. Now it's time to try the Martin 12-54👍

I know you're going to love them! I was a die hard D'Addario fan until I tried these Martin Tommy Emmanuel Signature Strings and now they're all I use. Let me know how you get on with them 👍

How do they compare to the Martin ma130fx flexible strings as far as softness and sound

Hi John, the Tommy Emmanuel Signature Strings are a much higher tension than the MA130 Silk and Phosphor Flexible Core Martin Strings so they have more volume but are obviously harder on the fingers. I think all strings sound better when they've stretched and settled in for a couple of days 👍

Hi Roy, Yes I still like them but I'm now using the Martin Silk and Steel strings on my parlor guitar because apart from having a much lower tension which is easier for my arthritic fingers to play, I think the tone of the Martin Silk and Steel strings is a better match for the Koa on Mahogany tone woods of the guitar
