Our rhythm section unit back then consisted of members myself Clyde Edwards(guitar) Larry Exum(Bass)Leo Davis(Hammond Organ)Ike Davis(Drums)Ken Rightout and also Louis Price(who later became lead singer of The Temptations after Dennis Edwards first left the group. We would often be a part of the Brunswick tour as back up musicians for the late great"Walter Jackson", and included on the tour were The Chi-Lites/ Tyrone Davis and the original Lost Generation group as well. I never will forget as most of the musicians on the tour were riding in Tyrone Davis bus and on one occasion riding through Arizona with the air conditioning out of wack in all of that heat 😂

Mr Robert " Squirrel" Lester. Fantastic voice....Marshall Tbompson' Frank Reed and Tara Thompson ( Marshall's wife) RIP Eugene and Red...very sadly missed. ⚘🙏⚘

I.could swear I.read where it was stated that its Robert Lester who led oh' Girl on the record. Marshall Thompson co'lead with Eugene earlier in the groups career.

@@jamesporter100 I found some pieces of the concert but wrong stylistics group ....not Russell Thompkins Jr who was lead singer 35 years and recorded all their hit songs alone....they weren't even on 12 of 14 first top hits. Te can't immitste Russell.

Frank Reed did a great job filling in for Eugene Record...but never the same as the original singer.
Singing and dressing down were is just as u see.and there music truly reflexes that in bitter sweet time of the 70tys Blessed.

Admiro e gosto de todos os grupos musicais americanos mas me identifiquei com esse ches'lite lembro dos grandes bailes,clubes discotecas ,festas aqui no Brasil anos 70 ...80 dancei ,curtir muito com as músicas deles é quando os encontrei no yutub foi ótimo adoro ver ouvir esse som e apaixonante a banda maravilhosa mesmo sabendo que alguns do grupo já estão com Deus 🕊 !!!!amo todos !💐 Não vejo videos de homenagens a Mary linda maravilhosa , ao Frank !grandes cantores sempre na deles no palco O Robert Lester que elegância ! Marshall Thompson o grande mestre Eugene Record gênio da composições lindas músicas românticas!
