    This song always reminds me of my dad. He would play this on the way to our lake spot in Pennsylvania. When this song came on, he blast it. I'm 42 now and I loved the oldies station. This is one of my favorite songs ever!

    I was in the military and a year from going to Southeast Asia when this song came out. I remember playing this on the jukebox in Bangok at the hotel we were at on R&R. What great music and another of theirs was "OH Girl". 50s, 60s and 70 music was the best.

    1971 not 1967 so far off with the years. Soul Train didn't become a regular TV series to gain recognition in the 60's.

    Bryce Kirk the Chicago show started on August 17, 1970 - thusly, any “Sould Train” footage before that simply doesn’t exist cause the show didn’t exist! Haha
