I think the first ones were more beautiful. My 1st gen Stockwell has those nice brass colour push buttons that I miss on the new ones. But I think that the 2nd gen is more stable (placement-wise)

Stockwell II Sounds amazing, but not the Loudest. It Should have min 40watts to Suit Party & Outdoors also.

I agree I bought one, the sound is really sound and give a good surround impression but the volume goes from 1 to 10 and from 1 to 7 it is more or less as loud as a headset...., so you have to put it at >7 to have something good

It advertised as stereo but sadly it sound mono (from my experience with Stockwell 2). It really kills some of my fav music experience.
