You need to try them in Jamae Lafna there in Marrakesh, they are much different and very tasty than in any other place in the world (be there for sunset)! Make sure you visit Fez, that's where I come from (it is similar but different than Marrakesh) Don't miss that experience! Thank you for doing what you doing! Amal

This might be too much info at this point 😇

HI! I did not get henna. I love it, but it was pricy in Marrakech so I decided to just let Avalon do it. The break is so good. It is like a fluffy pita, but much tastier. Now I am craving it. Ha.

Did you know that Moroccans feel that tourists are visiting their home while actually visiting Morocco. So don’t get surprised if they offer free help and a trip to their homes to enjoy free foods

I know the feeling. Everywhere we went, we were told that we were welcome. We truly did feel welcome. I would have loved to have gone to the homes of more people as that proved to be our best experiences in Morocco. We did it once in the High Atlas and the campsite we stayed at in Dades gorge was also the home of a family (which was amazing).

you said hammam wrong, non moroccans or non arabic speakers usually can't pronounce the h sound. its a different h pronunciation than the one in the english language. you have to use your throat more which can be difficult for non arabic speakers. listen to a recording of the word hammam and you will see what i mean
