Eh.... i just bought into Temasek USD long dataed bond. 😅 im not gonna care about its price movement as i intend to hold till it is called in 2039. Only then... then worry about its exchange rate to SGD. 😅

Have to be careful and enter at the right time, could be for months.

REITs unfortunately won't do well in high-interest and high-inflationary environments. While its sensitivity to interest rates is not as high as bonds it is still near to the higher end. Stocks with pricing power will do much better as companies with sticky products or services can easily pass on costs to their customers.

Malls are also passing on rent inflation to tenants "high-interest and high-inflationary environments" - Ive shared some reit loans refinanced and booked in a lower long term cost already in the last few months

Logically it should... but id advocate a pov change. We cant consistently predict inflation hence buying ONLY when we are sure interest rates are going down cannot work. Be patient to wait out periods when we get it wrong. Dont let that deter the first step to invest. Hope it answers k

😅 of course i know abit on charts.. read many books about it in uni days... made big gains and also blew it off. Ive since focused on long term investing

Yep...wait for the black swan...why take risk on shares and reits n bond. If you must bet and gamble...buy the miners stock. Buy gold and take long position...can sleep good n soundly at night. Dont take risk and gamble yr hard earn money.

@@joshconsultancy not when some blemishes are very obvious, and when they show up in a handful of your videos. Have been watching your channel for quite a while. Some mistakes seem small but can have significant consequences. Your edit team can surely do better Anyway, it is just a feedback to you, do what you may with it
