not only them (Konyuh, Bencic, Kvitova even tho she has 3 slams or even kontaveit or Sevastova) but yeah since roland garros final i knew she's more than average Joe player, especially her silver medal in Tokyo proved it.

@@mittalvinayak12 yeah she achieved a lots before her 16ths or even later reached quarterfinal at us open while being nearly number 100. She had so much potential to dominate (or at least be in top5/10)

Tbh she deserves an award for being able to hit that many dropshot winners against halep 🙌😳

She beat Andreescu 6-0 6-1 this year made her feel like an amateur

I've loved Marketa's game ever since she made the final of 2019 Roland-Garros, so glad she's a Wimbledon champion!!

I appreciate this video. So many commenters have said she had an easy run to the Wimbledon title and some even said she played average, mediocre tennis. This will hopefully remind everyone what a great player she was before her injury and what a great player she continues to be.

You can be the best player all tournament long, beating very good players along the way, but in the end it all comes down to the final and how you deal with the situation. Ons definitely felt the pressure, and Marketa did what had to be done. Even though she's a very talented player, I'm curious to see how she will build on this. She's not going to go away all of a sudden I believe, but still, this Wimbledon win was quite unexpected, and now she will be among the favourites and she will have to deal with the pressure.

When she was first starting, somebody said she was like a mix of Kerber defence, movement, variety and Pliskovas Serve, power and net game

@@ayrtsennparra3932​​⁠​​⁠ I don’t see it. Kerber didn’t have much variety at all.. she was strictly a baseliner that would grind her opponents down and Pliskova isn’t great at the net. A more accurate comparison would be Radwanska, except Marketa has the ability to generate power off the ground when she wants to, which Radwanska couldn’t.

She’s not a pusher 🤡 she uses variety, but she can generate power when she wants too. Like she did towards the end of the video against Garcia
