It is painted. It is several layers of paint that is sanded and shaped to mimic Patina.

I have a killer sound system in this truck , I just have it hidden ,wanted the dash as clean a possible .

Yeah he had the nice step side, the regular bed looks like trash. I have a 59 myself and a trophy room that goes with it.
