I’m a BYU alum and a big Mark Pope fan. I’m also a Nebraska football fan and I thought we had the best fans in sport (with 400 consecutive sellouts happening this year with the past decade being mostly a losing team). However, when it comes to basketball I can’t imagine a more passionate fanbase than Kentucky. I was impressed. Count me as a new Kentucky fan!

I'd rather have him as an assistant. He has no experience of recruiting or coaching 4 or 5 stars. Major red flag 🚩 for recruiting

Agree , players keep walking out the door and everyone is celebrating the press conference and introduction , Travis Perry said his own interview he hasn’t spoken with Pope yet which is Crazy , Wagner & Big Z in portal over past 2 days and Boogie Fland de-committed it’s crazy , the SEC has 9 coaches with elite 8’s and 6 with final 4’s , the SEC is gonna be an absolute gauntlet and not to mention Dallin Hall who went in transfer portal from BYU doesn’t even have UK on his list . The days of wanting kids who play for the name on the front of the jersey are over unless there local kids , all the kids that played under Pitino came here to play for Pitino and most wouldn’t have been here otherwise.
