Mark Goddard is a super nice guy. He was fun to hang around with the whole weekend and he told me some cool stories about the show when we had lunch. He would come and visit us in the Robot Room and talk to us and all the fans. He really made that convention special and I appreciate the time I got to spend with him. Thanks also to Craig Reinbrecht who built that robot which has got to be the most accurate and amazing replica of the original to date!

@@clydethurman2037 The only one I have is he and I at his booth when he was signing my Robot's power pack. It doesn't show anyone else though.

It would be nice if you could hear one thing Mark was saying.

Mark was my neighbor in Marina Del Rey back in 1985. Very nice guy. We watched a lot of Celtics games

Ohhhhh the Robot recreation is a thing of beauty. That is art ! I am mesmerized by it's every movement and flashing lights and love the sounds of his sensors / transistors processing. Loved this B-9 Robot since I was a kid when all the kids thought him real and we all wanted the Robot as our friend.

The Robot was my mother's favorite character in the show.

Don West was my favorite character on the show. So well played by Mark Goddard. Would have LOVED to see Don slap the shit out of Dr. Smith!

I know, I was thinking the same and that person laughing in such a fake way. I had to turn the sound off because that stupid loud laughter was ruining it.

Tried watching this all the way through but got too annoyed with all the noise.

The robot played a bigger role in Lost In Space than Mark Goddard did.

Esse robô da serie Perdidos no Espaço é sensacional,é o melhor robô de todos os filmes que já foram produzidos. Quem que na década de 60/70 quando criança não gostaria de ter um robô desse (mesmo ela não sendo de verdade,mais a gente quando crianção não achávamos que ele não era de verdade.). Lembro que na década de 60 a TV Record passava essa serie nas tardes de domingo, e a cada episodio era sorteado um robô de brinquedo movido a pilhas do mesmo modelo do B9,era sorteado pelo apresentador Durval de Andrade (,se eu não estiver enganado.) e patrocinado pelo OvoMaltine. E esses robôs que eram sorteados eram o mesmo que teve em um dos episódios da serie Perdidos no Espaço. Bons tempos ,década de 60 ,eramos felizes e não sabíamos. Dirceu Rodrigues. It was one of the guys who brought their robots to Starfest that year. There were about seven or eight of them. Roy Blair played the Robot inside.

Cannot the exact blueprints for the Robot be accessed from the production studio?? WHERE is the original one??

Jeff, do you have more of this video or the convention? I worked with Mark at this convention and the video cut off just as I was about to be in the video with Mark.

No, this was the whole video that I captured that day. I was meeting a friend of mine who was actually inside the Robot. I had just walked in with video camera ready and captured the scene. I get a lot complaints on this video because of the background noise, but didn't have time to set up microphones, etc.

So glad to see that Goddard isn't like Don. I couldn't stand his character.

- Never cared for the look of that robot (looked like a jumbled mess, with everything & the kitchen sink slapped together) Until this clip. - Now it looks like I'm waiting for dazzling fireworks to go off! Still a garbage can on wheels, not functional but a dazzling light show when it goes off!
