I want to personally thank you Hamilton-you created my favorite episodes to the T. Invaders from the fifth dimension , war of the robots! If you can, the episode “the keeper” I would love it! You are the best!!

That Priplanis sky looks beautiful in living color! You've even recreated that blocky rock formation at the campsite. B9 and Robby look fantastic. Of the humans, I think Judy looks the most authentic.

I remember this episode, when I was a kid.

I love the nod to B9's claw moving while he talks!

I also liked the one where the mini robots made the Robot their king - but they gave it Dr Smith's personality

Hard to believe that episode was so easily condensed to 10 minutes. LOL. Great work Phil!

Yes - That was my goal. Like watching a 8mm digest for the episode. Nest up is THERE WERE GIANTS. Heck - if no one else is going to colorize these I guess I'll have to do it.....

When Robinson asked the robot why he didn't like the alien robot why did he not tell them that the alien robot was dangerous and was actually playing like he was inactive? Why did he just say I don't like him?

Because it was a 1 hour episode and this was maybe twenty minutes in to the episode. If the Robot had spoke up at that point there would've been no danger, no betrayal, and no big last minute rescue by the robot.

You've included the part during the smoke screen battle where Robby zaps B9 and his bubble lights up. I don't know how B9 survived that blast! ⚡

The substance B9 dispersed -- some sort of disinfectant or insecticide would be consistent with his original mission as an Environmental Control Robot -- was laser-ablative. It broke up the robotoid's coherent light beam enough to render it weak enough to survive.

I was soooo happy when the robot defeated that thing.😊😊.

Fun Fact the B9 robot and Robby the Robot where designed by the same person so B9 and Robbie are Brothers . One more thing that I would like to point out ... Billy Mumy did not have a unibrow.

This cartoon is ok, but this episode was one of the best, at the end Dr.Smith must clean the Robots metal skin, and the way Dr.Smirh bows, Classic

B9 sure is acting more like C1-10P in this one!😮🤓😎✌🏻

You made me 😂with the "wacky alien head" reference! It sure was wacky, but that was Irwin for you. I'm sure he was like "Naah, we're not going to waste budget on coming up with yet another alien mask, not for just a couple of scenes. Send somebody from props down to the local joke shop and have them buy a dog mask". 😂

Bravo! A CGI adaptation almost 100% faithful to the original. The only omission is that crystal ball-like communicator the robotoid uses to re-establish contact with that Antican-looking alien. But, that's more of a nitpick than a complaint. Btw: do you have a similar adaptation for Season 2' s "Space Circus"?

I was always disappointed at how very little it took to disable Robby. A single electrical discharge?? And that line, "You have destroyed me." 🤣

when a show has to go a certain length of time, sometimes the actors have to adlib an extra minute or so, and sometimes, they have to wrap a scene up very quickly. LIS had at to do such here

Nice work. Is it just me or is Robby's chest panel upside down in this episode when compared to Forbidden Planet? BTW I checked and this model is episode accurate.

I noticed that too. Yes it is upside down. It is my understanding the center barrel section of the Robby costume is capable of being assembled with either end holding the head section. In other words its orientation is reversible. Robby was assembled upside down when he appeared in the 1960s TV show Hazel as well.

It was one of those episodes where a family member was completely missing and no one said anything! LOL! -- Where's Penny!!! 😆

If it wasn't that they would be offended by, it would be something else, like a pronoun or some other irrelevant thing. God knows people are offended by anything these days.

This was GREAT, until @2:46, when Dr. Smith appeared. Can't stand that character. Even at this early stage in the show he ruins the episodes. Jonathon Harris should have been beaten by fans until he apologized for taking from us what could have been a pretty darn cool science fiction drama. Instead, because of him, all we got was a silly space circus headed by an egocentric actor clown. With that said, this was clearly a lot of work to create. Nice! Sorry about the Dr. Smith rant, but the second he enters a scene, he destroys it and makes it not worth watching.
