Your build is the first build I’ve seen that actually added all the lights in the brain area. Most don’t have the random lighting behind the “language” of the brain, if they do then they don’t have the eyes lite up or the three amber blinking on the top. Some are missing the finger lighting. Yours have it all, you didn’t miss anything. My hat off to you sir excellent job.

Man that's nice. I want to get one and try my hand at building one. I used to build models when I was a kid. I have the very first robot kit that I built then. But that's nice. I want one with all the lights. I going to amherst ohio in July. They have a model shop. So I'm gonna look also for a jupiter 2 ship. I was a huge fan back in the day. I'm 62 years old. Saw every one first run

@fred3068017 жыл бұрын
You are an artist !! wonderful work. I was thinking if you could make one like that for a practical use. Say as a door bell. Someone pushes the button and the robot comes to life. Lighting up and swinging side to side perhaps even moving his arms. When a deaf person gets a knock on the door they have lights that come on to let them know someone is there. This would be a wonderful thing.

Mate, that is absolutely superb! I would love to own one but I see they're quite pricey with all the additional lights and sound, and you gotta have those, plus I wouldn't trust myself to make it without messing it up somehow. Was it difficult to make? Is there much painting involved or do the parts come pre painted?
@xrlent12
8 жыл бұрын
+36RChris Thanks mate, I have a whole buildup on this which you can see whats involved and how it comes. Its pricey but a nice kit and it a good size. It's not difficult if it's built out of the box. If you add the lighting thats where it gets difficult especially in the head / brain area. The lighting kits are very expensive and you still need to do some work with it. Thats why I opted to learn how to do it myself, saves alot of money, the downside is the time it takes to learn. Don't be afraid to make the kit without lights if thats how your comfortable it still makes a nice piece and goes together well.

Thank you. Fifty is a good price. There is an option to have extended arms but you have to choose either one. They dont move. You could maybe magnetize them if you want to use both and have it changeable. Good luck with the build.

Thank you. The kit is still available and they also have an upgraded glass dome version now.
The green outter frame of the power pack is backwards and it's missing the blue circuit beside the metal that goes through the clear part.

@xrlent12

Did you get those button decals from somewhere or did you make them?

I dont remember if they came with the kit. If not I made them. I didnt buy any decals for it.
Wow! Is this a modded Diamond Select version or a Moebius Model version? How much do you charge (in USDollars) to do this? Do the arms come out?
So cool....great great job on this!!

excellent job well done! I got one was disappointed the power pack was flawed, who ever made the kit didn't get the power pack right.

I just found one. Fifty bucks! I’m excited. But I noticed you didn’t extract his arms?? do the stretch out🤔. I guess I’ll find out Saturday when it arrives…But that is Tight”( meaning nice, cool, awesome😃) Nice clip 👍🏽 Best robot ever.

Thank you. Fifty is a good price. There is an option to have extended arms but you have to choose either one. They dont move. You could maybe magnetize them if you want to use both and have it changeable. Good luck with the build.
Amazing replica.

@@xrlent12 Oh I have a kit by Tena Controls ( nice kit ) I thought you had one of their sets. I'm trying to figure out if I would blow out the bulb or the board adding a SMD to the Robots Programming slide panel in the front like yours.

@@wraith20072007 ralph makes some nice stuff and would be the best to ask about that becauae he knows how its wired. I would say you should be gine with a resistor but without knowing the circuit I couldnt say for sure. I would send ralph from tena controls an email and tell him what you want to achieve. Im sure he will tell you what you can and cant do.
