If you guys ever get around to reading the books, they do that opening Comic Con scene but with shortcuts around writing and drawing a comic book. Just a brilliantly self-aware bit that works in both mediums.

To an extent…. Yes he is 😅. That’s kinda his whole character. Mark is Naive AF. You have to remember, he’s only like 20 and his whole life growing up has been predicated on being the most just and good hero of all time (because that’s how he viewed his dad as a child). It’s all he’s ever known and what he’s built his moral compass around. It’s his biggest weakness but it’s also his biggest strength. His borderline stupidity is what allows him to make decisions that almost no one else would make, and he’s fortunate that he has the body and powers the he does to be able to survive what would otherwise be suicidal decisions made by others. His naïveté and stubbornness to continue to care for little things is what confuses the shit out of Viltrumites. Trust me I get frustrated AF with Mark at times too, but the payoff in the dire moments of life and death are so awesome. It’s very rare to have a character be able to remind you how epic being truly good and victorious at the same time can be.

It’s also why his name, Invincible, is so fitting. Because his decisions get his shit rocked by his enemies so many times. He’s physically invincible but so are his morals. His feelings and beliefs are probably more so than his actual body. That’s why Rex’s comment of “only you could come back from something like that” is an extremely powerful statement. It’s more than just his physical invincibility

Ladies finally met one of my favorite characters from the series, Anissa. Who is beautiful as she is powerful, much like her superior General Kregg, Anissa is more of a soldier than a warrior. And I have to echo similar comments on that Miss Samantha would be a most excellent cosplay as her.

Oliver’s lifespan isn’t actually shorter because he is still half viltrumite so he will get to the physical-look plateau lol

Then, he desperately tried to save his relationship with Amber, only for it to broke up for good. Finally, Angstrom took Debbie and Oliver as hostages. And he could be really dangerous with his interdimensional power. Angstrom chose either the best or the worst time to fight Mark. My dude can't catch a must needed break or W.

I did the math on Mark having a less than 18% chance of winning, if Anissa is rated at 100, and Mark is rated 18, then Anissa is 5.555 repeating times stronger than Mark. For reference, Nolan is estimated at 50% stronger than Mark during the Chicago Fight which would be a 27, and Anissa would be just about 3.7x stronger than Nolan. Disclaimer: Idk how accurate my math is, I haven't done anything math related that would be consequential to my life in about 6 years.

Honestly, I think u might be right lmfaoo. I Like math, so it checks out but If anything we need beginning levels. Like Nolan is 27 by your math, but is that all the time or considering he almost lost to that monster had to fight the reanimen and immortal and got shot with the hammer? And if we consider that and say that same 50% stronger than mark, that’s more like Nolan is a 27 while weakened. Full strength, no holding back, I wanna say Nolan is a 40-50 ish, invincible is an 18, and Anissa is at 100. Those other viltrumites I’ll probably put at 50-60. Anissa probably got youth on them, hence her higher rating. If anything you better off marking it up as percentiles like : Mark having an 18% chance of beating her while she has a 100% chance of beating mark. She’s better than Nolan, and we decided Nolan is 50% more powerful than mark, but was able to fight in equal terms with those other older viltrumites, so we can say that Anissa is in the top 15% or so of viltrumites given her power and youth, Nolan is teetering around 40-50, the three viltrumites maybe around 40-60, and mark probably is at around 75 percentile. And Oliver is at the bottom cuz u know, he’s a half breed and a baby.
