U.S. Marines, alongside coalition forces and Afghan National Security Forces, entered Marjah, Afghanistan, February 2010 to cripple the Taliban hold on the area and its people. Staff Sgt. Philip Grondin shows us the progress Marines and Afghans have made for Marjah since that day.

@MarineMike97 the civis will never publicly talk against the Taliban, if they do they lose their heads and they know it. Instead they talk shit to NATO forces when they pass threw so the Taliban leave them alone.

@HousekaterClaudio we weren't after the afghani men, we were after the al qaeda and taliban who planned the attacks. we had every right to go into afghanistan!
Let me tell u one thing taliban will never allow people to grow opium because of religion and its not allowed to grow opium in islam. I know this because my dad was a member of taliban he was fighting US forces in urosgan province and helmand province. .
