@@muskaflowers I'm glad they made his personality the way he used to be in the old games at least. Rayman was always sort of goofy, but he was also serious and smart. But they made him an idiot who seems to have a high case of ADHD in Origins and Legends. I like those games but I thought they made Rayman too goofy and they really messed up Globax, I hate the way he looks in those games lol I'm glad he's more serious this time around. When you think about it, this design reminds me of the same design for Rayman that they used in the Rayman Legends CGI trailer and I thought that looked pretty good.

When he was dismantled at the end of the fight in Mario＋Rabbids I thought he'd be a one-off, but having that ridiculous and pompous rabbid roasting Mario while singing, that was so daring, even for Nintendo, I kinda knew the character would make a comeback someday. It's like Shadow in the Sonic franchise. He died at the end of Sonic Adventure 2 but ‘oh, no, we had planned to add it to the team all along’. I really hope we get to get some more roasting songs. Maybe against Rayman, this time?

I’m so glad that Rayman is finally getting some recognition again!

Man, I can't wait for this to release; it's truly great to see Rayman back in action after all this time! I wonder if we'll eventually get a brand new game...? I mean, tons of classic platformer mascots have been making their way back into the spotlight over the past few years, such as Crash, Spyro and Klonoa, so anything's possible!

Assuming you don't count Origins and Legends as Rayman 4 and Rayman 5 respectively, in which case that'd make it Rayman 6. Also, as someone who became a hardcore Klonoa fan last year thanks to Phantasy Reverie Series, to the point where its title character is now a comfort character of mine, I wholeheartedly approve of your profile picture. It's just more problematic to bring him back than other mascots, because the identity of his games are not well defined. The safest bet would probably be another 2D-sidecroller, which I'm personally not a fan of, but it would make the most sense for Ubisoft

He’s not getting the attention he deserves, they haven’t done Rayman game in years and years.

I'm so happy they gave Rayman a weapon that pays homage to the plunger gun from his last encounters with the Rabbids. Can't have a Rayman + Rabbids title without that iconic plunger gun!

Rabbids didn't just come from Rayman. They nearly eclipsed him entirely. Here's to the hope for a new and brighter future for our favorite, and only, eggplant-shaped hero.

Man, I haven't played a Rayman game since the PS1, but it's good to see him in the limelight again!

Thanks for including him as a character. Hopefully, he'll be in future endeavors, because the Rayman franchise is so magical and has had many great games, OST's, and gameplay. A lot of people have a passion about Rayman, including me.

Seeing how charming and jam pack full of personality Rabbids games game can be, and just how expressive Rayman's (and all the character for that matter) animations are. The possibility of another Rayman game seriously gets me super pumped with how the devs will treat the characters and gameplay. It really looks like they understand how to make a game supper appealing and engaging .

I honestly love the big Easter egg in this DLC that the set designs are just like the areas seen in the very first game that the rabbids appear in back in the Nintendo Wii era with Rayman. Talk about a throwback

I don’t think it’s just Rabbids, either. That dragon in the fantasy area is definitely from Rayman Legends. Here’s to hoping there’s more Easter eggs from the OG series, like Robo-Pirates in the pirate area or Hoodlums in the Western area. Bringing back the purple lums suggests that they aren’t being completely oblivious to it. Edit: Don’t those black eye-monsters in the pirate area kind of look like Jano from Rayman 2?

Pictures released have shown the Masks, the walking shells from Rayman 2, Barbara's helmet from Legends, and the submarine from Raving Rabbids TV Party in the background. And that's only what we've briefly seen here

Lemme just say, it was an honor contributing to the Space Opera Network Show and reuniting with Rayman. It really means a lot! I never was really a fan of that Phantom guy, though. Gonna be a great DLC, eh?

Finally…our boy Rayman is back after so long ago, and he is fully loaded too-Kyu. This is definitely the first I have seen his return in a Rayman and Mario collab, the best I have seen yet! 🤩🤩🤩🤩

I know this likely won’t happen, but I do hope rayman can be playable outside of his DLC, like a bonus character after completing his DLC.

I wasn’t quite sure about Rayman’s spotlight being shared with the Phantom for this DLC, but once it clicked that the Phantom is on a quest to improve his ratings it makes since why Rayman would be here. Rayman is looking to get his popularity back by performing for this network. If I’m right, I can respect the direction the team went purely for the comedic irony of the situation.

Seeing Rayman swing on the purple lums triggered an emotion in me I cant even properly put into words Man, what I wouldnt give for another main line Rayman game

I don't think I've felt so many mixed feelings throughout a single video game trailer. On one hand, Rayman! And he looks incredible! And they're bringing back some mechanics of his early 3D era. On the other hand, he has to once again share the spotlight with the Rabbids who in the past took their time overshadowing his franchise until it was theirs. Now he is the side character in their game and only they get to interact with Mario, where he does not. It's such a mix of proper tribute and utter disrespect.

​@sirmel11 ubisoft didn't like the sales totals for this series, which is why it always goes on sale for $30, especially physical. Sorry Rayman will probably go the way of immortals fenyx rising, but at least this is better than an uno crossover 😂.

In last case, the Rabbids were essentially the Wario to Rayman's Mario, or the Mario to Donkey Kong's... well, Donkey Kong. They have since diverged to be their own thing now and crossed over with Mario, so this is both their game now. If anything, this is essentially paying the respect back to Rayman by bringing him in to their game. This is still the Rabbids' game alongside Mario's, Rayman is just invited to be a part of it much like how they were a part of Rayman's games once before. Now whether Ubisoft decides to make more Rayman games or not is another matter entirely, but its not like anything involving Rayman and the Rabbids must prioritize Rayman over the Rabbids.

@@sirmel11if you’re looking at total overall sales the Rayman series has sold much more games than the Rabbids series, but somehow rabbids are a more popular concept. If anything i think it’s attributed to things like the movie Despicable Me since it came out around the same time as the Rabbids did, and minions and rabbids are extremely similar in a lot of ways. Minions still to this day are a bit of a cultural phenomenon and very popular but rabbids seem to have lost all of that popularity and let minions be the sole spotlight now.

Bro, like this is already confirmed to be the best DLC in game, they brought back my favorite rabbid, Phantom, the areas are amazing, and literally everything that is related to Rayman is wonderful, animations, expression, details, and the references, i seriously cannot wait this DLC release.

So, let me get this straight: Even though Phantom ABSOLUTELY EMBARRASSED HIMSELF in Kingdom Battle, he's still at it with more antics?! Phantom gets my respect.

Okay there is so much love in this trailer, from the "Space opera" thing probably being a reference to Space Mama, the Dragon head design looking like the bosses form Legends, the background theme being the them from Legends, Rayman using his plunger gun from Raving Rabbids, the purple lums. God I really hope this drums up excitement for Rayman again

Why would Space Opera be a reference to Space Mama??? Do you not know that Space Opera is a thing? Like a very common phrase/genre??? It's not a reference lol. That's like going to the "Fantasy" section of a bookstore and being like, "GASP! IS THIS A REFERENCE TO FINAL FANTASY?!?!?!"

Seeing Phantom appear along OUR BEST BOY RAYMAN is an absolute thrill. We desperately need to see a return of Rayman in general, and Phantom made the best first impression out of the bosses in the first game. I can't wait for this to come out!

Theres a easter egg in 0:14 in if you look at the dragon in the back that is one of the bosses in rayman legends.

They're all based on different things from the Rayman franchise. Wild west is based on Rabbids 1, medieval is from Legends and the Pirate ship is from Rayman 1. The walking shell and the masks from Rayman 2 are also in this DLC.

Because ever since I was a kid I had always been dreamed of Origins and Legends. So I guess it's time to wait for Rayman DLC Spark of Hope. Instead of Donkey Kong come from the Kingdom Battle. So yeah! I imagine that he's the special guest character in this game. I hope you have a blessed weekend 🙏 ✨️ 💛

Sounds like Rayman’s not gonna have much of a speaking role but at the very least, it’s good to see that he’s back in gaming, even if it might be for this one thing. If it ends up that way then Beepo might be one of the only a few people actually speaking in this side story. So it is nice to see the phantom as he was only referenced in one planet.

Seeing rayman in action put a smile in my face. Each DLC's of this game is perfect. See you in August 30 Rayman! 🤙🏽❤️

This dlc alone is making me buy this game! Love Rayman

havent played mario + rabbids yet but they're definitely on my to-play list!! they seem so fun and made with a lot of love for the mario/rabbit/other franchises like watching a great animated movie :)

Oooooo looks like the Phantom makes a spectacular comeback in this epic DLC

After he got kicked out by the Rebbits, now he will be the one who kicks. Lets go. My dreams for Rayman 4 will never end!

I am so shocked to see Rayman return, he deserved that huge comeback. I'm also shocked that the Phantom is returning, would he be the main villain of the story? I hope for another song sung by him.

Rayman 3 is my favorite in my opinion especially cause of it’s humor and style

Seeing Rayman in action again makes me so happy.

The Donkey Kong Adventure DLC from the first game is super underrated and has maps built around Donkey Kong's abilities. Happy to see them taking the same approach with Rayman.
