Anyonomous person OK Spoiler: He is in the music player, listening to music while the others are out adventuring. Typical. Not there to help your friends, although it would have made the game a nightmare if he was added, because of how complicated it would have made it all. Adding Paper Luigi isn't like Partners in Time, this time you control all four at the same time, and not piggybacking. Partners in time was great, since you either controlled the babies or the adults. The babies could piggyback the adults, but the buttons still remained A and B. Battle turns in Paper Jam would have been longer, tells would have been an awful pain to work out... and also Paper Luigi speaks, so it would be weird for him to be speaking whilst the rest can't. I only got this from others, since I've not played Paper Mario.

That would be frustrating if you had to play as 4 individual characters and use all 4 buttons for jumping and hammering. Plus it would be weird seeing a Luigi who speaks Italian/Gibberish and a talking Luigi interact with each other.

Really HYPED, i'm playing Partners in Time right now, and i love it a lot, i love the saga in general and for the lots of things i have seen from this game, this might be a 1 day buy for me.

This game looks amazing! I've only played Super Paper Mario and I'm almost done with Mario and Luigi: Dream team bros, but I still can't wait for these two fantastic game series to come together! We already know from this that the gameplay will be top notch (c'mon, it's Mario and Luigi! Even if the game stinks, you know the gameplay's gonna be good). I just hope it'll give us a good story. It doesn't need Super paper Mario levels of storytelling, but I need something to work for if I'm gonna have fun. As long as it doesn't just focus on Bowser kidnapping Peach, I'll be good.

This game looks great, can't wait to get it.

Don't get me wrong, my favourite Paper Mario game is TTYD, but people need to start realizing that not everyone grew up with the classics. Nintendo is only making the RPGs more like the main series because it's what they know fans will want. People ALSO need to realize that characters and story aren't everything in a game, and Paper Mario is no exception. This game looks really fun, regardless if it is linear or not.

My neighbor's kid got arrested because of this game, the kid was a big fan of the Mario and luigi RPG series that when he saw the trailer for this game he ended up selling his parents belongings to make the money and buy the game on Day 1. His parents eventually found out a couple days later which led to a pretty violent fight and the dad getting hit by a bat on the head and the cops called.

Meanwhile, Paper Luigi is chillin in the sound test.

I am. However, one of these days I wish Nintendo would make another _actual_ Paper Mario Game. Like... it';s been 11 years since Thousand Year Door came out, since then, we've had nothing but experiments such as this as far as Paper Mario goes. :/

Yoshiman00 Me too. Bowser's Inside Story is one of my favorite DS games. I'm kind of interested to see how they use Paper Mario though... the gameplay seen in this trailer seems weird to me, like a strange hybrid of Sticker Star and Mario and Luigi. I think this is definitely a wild card game though, it all comes down to how good the gameplay ends up being.

+Kratos Aurion Plays Sticker Star wasn't that bad. :/ It just desperately needed a "Store" system at the shops. If it had that, then the game would have been so much better.

i pre-ordered this game from amazon and its gonna be awesome!!!!!!!!!!

I will be getting this game, but I still want a traditional Paper Mario RPG as well (In addition to incorporating classic Paper Mario gameplay of the first two game, bring in some of the good ideas from SPM and SS, like Recipe Disks, increased Coin Cap, Secret Door feature, increased emphasis on exploration, etc.)

Can't wait for this game to come out! =D

The music is amazing. Not the best Mario & Luigi OST, but it's still up there!

Two of my favorite game series are now fused together. GENIUS. They should add a switch button like in SS.

Time flies dosent it i remember when before this game came out when i played partners in time and bowsers inside story on r64 card i wish partners in time got a remake. I want more of these games but it wont be the same without alphadream

Hey Nintendo, now you should make a sequel to this game having Mario & Luigi return the favor and cross over into a Paper Mario game on a home console so the concept would be the invert of this game's concept and parallel it. Paper Mario is almost always on home consoles and Mario & Luigi is always on handheld consoles, so the game I described that I said you should make would be the complete opposite in every aspect.
