This is my favorite magic trick of all time. It is unmatched in terms of elegance. And, I don't care what anyone says 0:49 is straight magic. Even watching that at .25x, it looks exactly the same as real time.

@@okcomputer6033 it’s one of my favourite magic tricks. Even when you find out how it’s done, it makes you respect him more. He’s the master of this trick,and I’d have never know how it was done if I didn’t search it. Re read the comments, I didn’t hate one anyone.

if you look carefully at his fingers(index and thumb) you see him roll the cigarette.. the cigarette has half mirrored orange filters on opposite sides.

A wonderful routine, for some reason I randomly felt the need to watch this again after few years, and it made my day better

Even though I know how this trick is done which should kill the magic of the trick, I still watch this video over and over because the way Mario delivers it. It cannot be done any better. His entire personality can fill a room. I can't help but smile and see the trick like its the first time all over. Absolutely phenomenal performance

His is different than the reveal videos. He lifts his head so you can see the bottom of the cigarette. The reveal vids show a gimmicked cig that you can't do that with

i love this man. his faces are amazing, and his tricks are actually super entertaining.

This is one of the best routine's I have ever seen. The delivery is outstanding!

0:26 - Slow it down to 0.25x speed and watch it when it 'flips' as its on his lips. You can clearly see the cigarette roll to the left (his right) and for a few frames you can see both a filter at the top and bottom of the cigarette on opposite sides. That being said, he is a master at the slight of hand, rolling the smoke and flipping it so it looks just right... especially when turning his head and incorporating quarter turns to not expose the trick. Well done dude, well done!

At 0:26 you can see frame by frame that you are still fooled.

I think the best explanation is that one side has the bottom white, and the top brown, and the other side has the bottom brown, and the top white, so all he has to do is flip it over horizontally.

He just has a piece of brown paper resembling the filter sliding up and down a plain white cigarette, its not really that impressive

@@andersonaldo1340 I do not think that you are right. I think it is a cigarette, which on top has the half facing his chin brown as the filter. And the bottom has the half facing the crowd having the brown filter. So if he flips it, the filter side from the chin faces him now and we can not see it and the filter side from his mouth which was facing him, faces the crowd and is on the bottom now. You know what i mean? And even if he rolls the cigarette in his fingers or in his mouth, the other half appears. Which means if he has the filter facing the crowd in his mouth, he just rolls it a bit with the tongue to the left and now the white half of the cigarette faces the crowd, while the bottom of the cigarette which showed the white half shows now the brown filter side

It is just a cigarette which has the "brown filter" half on each side. Then, if he flips or rolls the cigarette, the side of the filter "switches"

what i think. and i only saw the video once. is the filter is a hollow tube that can travel freely on the white piece. and so everytime he flipped it. the gravity pull the brown piece down. which also explains when he looked up at the 1 minute mark. the brown piece was on his lips. cuz gravity pulled it that way. and when he separated the 2 white pieces. there is a string attached to both ends allowing the brown piece to again. travel across the string into the other seemingly disconnected white piece.
