Ah, freshman year in high school. Only thing I remember was being absolutely hyped for this game for the entire year. I could barely focus in the second semester with how close the game was to releasing.

That timer next to him saying things like "There's no way this game is rushed", and trying to find other modes when he's out of options is one of the best jokes I have ever seen in a gaming video.

@Rando wasn't Wind Waker HD created on a different engine all together? A remaster is taking the same game on the same engine and making it look slightly better. If the game is on a new engine with new assets and a few new features doesn't that make it a remake?

Mario Kart 8 for Wii U is so memorable for me, I played it a lot, beat all the Grand Prix in all race classes, had 20K race points and 10k battle points online, and just had a fun time whenever I picked it up. A couple of favorite courses are cloudtop cruise, rainbow road, and electrodrome.

I love the way he says “Trauma”

Joshua ijaola The gameplay is cathartic for a lot of people and it uses aesthetic to the fullest extent. I enjoy it, but do find it too much of a grind at times.

I love being able to see their footage of 3D World and just know that's Eric playing Toad going out of his way to prevent progress.

Tbh a lot of first party Wii U games have this problem. Xenoblade X with the map, Splatoon with the superjump color splash in general etc. Like I'd rather just hit a button and see the map than have to look up and down whenever I want to know where I was. It works on the DS systems since the screens are right next to each other but on the Wii U it's just annoying to me. The game pad being uncomfortable and having bad battery life really doesn't help id rather just play with a pro controller

Not all that different from 2 screen DS's. Except your eyes will have to zoom out whenever you switch the view and your head probably needs to move, unless you have the gamepad leaning against your upward pointing knees or something. Never liked DS either, especially the whole playing with a pen aspect. Yeah there's thumb "pen" but it sucks.

Finally, a review on a game that I like that Scott doesn’t hate, now I am at peace.

In 8 Deluxe, that means a Boo will steal the horn, a blue shell will be fired off, lightning will strike, & a red shell will kick you up the ass. Trust me, I speak from experience.
