Mildly scummy, but if you've got a rich friend, talk about a steam family with 'em. The beta makes it way easier than it used to be, and doesnt require them to sign in on your device like the current stable system does. I don't know how safe this is though.

On your list cross-generation games from 8:10-8:24, I also have a few cross gen I want to add just for fun that released between PS3 and PS4, tough most of them are Japanese games and either their PS3 versions remained in Japan or they were never released in America as a whole (regardless of which version). Theses include Tales of Berseria, Yakuza Kiwami 1, Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakkuu 2016, Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends and Empires, Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth, Chaos;Child, Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, Yakuza 0, Nights of Azure, etc. The PS3 was still getting games in Japan until 2017! There were also a few original Japan-exclusive visual novels that were originally released between PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita from 2013-2016. This just goes to show that not only do consoles sometimes refused to die, but that there is still an audience playing on last-gen hardware and are still buying new games for them.

You do realize you can rip your own ROMs right Also you can't by definition steal code, its not a physical object, otherwise taking a picture of any painting or work of art would be considered theft As long as it isnt being sold then it is totally legal, thats why to my knowledge nobody has ever gone to jail for emulation, or getting ROMs All Nintendo or Capcom can do is sue you, but even then they would have to put the game up for sale online first That's how it works on PC, if they don't sell the games anymore its abandonware and can be distributed for free
I fall into those rewind traps in racing games, I go forever without it, then I use it once and its all over lol

Watching this as Horizon (former PS exclusive) has been announced for Switch with a Lego game.
I really truly can't stand the collector "oh this GBA rerelease of an obscure kinda bad NES game is worth at least like 20usd" like are you crazy, glance for like 5 seconds at the indie game scene that's what 20usd could get you; meanwhile Nintendo just regularly purges their own libraries. Just pirate if you care at all.

You can apply the argument made by Scott to the video itself: Was the commentary good? It wasn't bad, but it's not useful or meaningful, and it doesn't add anything to my experience with the original game. Was it necessary to make the video 40 minutes long by repeating the same argument over and over? No, it just demonstrates that there wasn't a lot to comment on in the first place.
