That was just pure unforgiving domination. Cal going deep from both sides of the plate for the 2nd time in 3 days. Some are saying he's the greatest switch hitting catcher ever and are they wrong? I think not. Polanco has been playing well so far this road trip, Julio has been playing great this month outside of 1 really weird bad day that we won't talk about. Rangers, you wanna do us a favor and win some games against Houston? Thanks please.

​@@BillMorganChannel Greatest? Probably not yet but compare Ted and Cal's 162 game averages and in most batting stats they're strikingly similar. Ted trades some SOs for Hs but Cal hits twice as many HRs and the result is Ted only accounts for 3 more runs on average a year. On the defensive side Cal saves 7 runs a year fielding while Ted costs his team 2. Ted's WAR, 3.3. Cal's, 3.7. Defensively Cal is better in almost every category. Point is, Cal is clearly pretty special when it comes to switching hitting catchers and that can be true without taking anything from Ted.

Umpires need to stop getting angry with players--if you need to eject somebody, just do it. Skip the theatrics and looking pissed. Compare MLB to the NFL: When was the last time you saw football ref yell at a player as he dramatically makes the ejection signal? Instead, football refs just turn on the mic, announce their decision, and get back to work. MLB umps act like spoiled children. It's unnecessary.

Oakland another not so great team scored 19 runs against Baltimore last Saturday 8 on their starting pitcher was that luck?

I'm OUTRAGED!!!!!!!!!! Logan Gilbert doesn't get to play in the all-star game because he has a start 2 days before the game?! WHAT is up with that. He'd have two days rest before the all-star game (Monday and most of Tuesday) and it's not like he's playing the majority of the game (he'd most likely get an inning at most) or even starting so what's the big deal?! Or here's an idea: switch pitchers around and have Bryce pitch on Sunday he'd have 4 days rest. The league is f'ing with us as usual. They knew Logan was scheduled to pitch on Sunday long before they told him he was chosen for the all-star game and yet still got his hopes up. What a CRUEL thing to do.

The MLB kills me. Analytics have ruined the game. The Mariners ENTIRE STARTING LINEUP hits well below .300. You have guys starting, and getting paid, hitting in the low 2’s. And somehow that’s just acceptable these days. It’s insane. How is the game better when guys are hitting averages so low, they would not have been on the field 10-20 years ago? I akin it to your ymca basketball players- guys just jacking up 3’s and playing no D. What blows me away is that everyone has just accepted this new form of play. And it’s killing the game. Management needs to wake up, before they lose what waning fan base the MLB has left.

One of the worst offensive teams in all of baseball!! Third worst in all of baseball in runs scored worst batting average! Just think where we would be if Mariners had a couple high average hitters in their lineup!! This is why I prefer I high average guys over a .220 hitter with 30+ homers and 200+ strikeouts!! With our pitching we could be top 5 team if we had a couple high average guys!! Come on go get em trader Jerry!! We lost a 10 game lead in the division because of our hitting!
