I can tell you’re a fan of her because it takes lots of devotion to her to match these movements, emotions and mannerisms. It's interesting how a youtube asmrtist's Marilyn Monroe roleplay is much more close to the real Marilyn than many of the professional actresses that portrayed her 🤷 I love Marilyn and watched a ton of movies about her, and this roleplay is probably the best movie I've seen 😄 And so relaxing as well

Yes! I wrote years ago, that Maria's voice is just like Marilyn's! I've been a Marilyn-fan for ages an seen a bunch of wannabes, but this is just phenomenal 🤯

This is lovely ASMR, but you got me in my feelings with this: "That's all I ever want is just to please. To make friends. To be loved. Is that too much to ask?" I just read a biography of Marilyn and that's pretty much her to a T. 😢 There's a genuine affection for Marilyn in this impersonation, it's really nice. Great job!

She had really bad clinical depression. All she ever wanted was a family and children, but all of her babies died. She was a wonderful, beautiful person inside and out..she got taken from us way too soon.

@@americanpidgeot6486 the horror she endured would have broken anyone and, in my opinion, did ultimately cause her breakdown. her mother was in a mental hospital and she was farmed out to families temporarily. a girl growing up without a mother's love is on thin ice. nobody to really protect her or to really care. it damages your brain. you seek to self medicate. you are used to unhappy endings and so you create them over and over again. this was her story.

She had extreme lows in her career as well and if I remember correctly wasn't one of her husband's abusive? She went through a lot, she also had depression on top of it, it's stated in multiple documentaries about her. I've been through A LOT of the same situations as her while also dealing with mental illness. She's an inspiration to me for sure.

This is a straight up performance. Maria's Marilyn is subtly sad but also almost slightly eerie (in a good way). And still relaxing the whole time. Awesome work, Maria!

I’m a straight guy and I cannot register how *deeply* I either want to become Marilyn Monroe or get my makeup done by her either one is fine TO THE COMMENTS WHO DON’T UNDERSTAND THE JOKE: the reason I said I’m a straight male is because it makes the post more ironic. It wouldn’t be humorous if I said “I’m a cis girl and I want to be Marilyn...etc” or “I’m a gay male and I want to have my makeup down by Marilyn...etc” NOT because females and gay men all want to have their makeup done or be feminine, but because the stereotypes society associates with gender roles and sexuality. The entire point of the comment was the irony that I am straight and male (society views us as having toxic masculinity and not wanting to be feminine or else that would make us “gay”, which is ridiculous belief) but despite the way I was born I STILL want to BE Marilyn Monroe, (the worlds most iconic, feminine woman) or want to have my MAKEUP done by her even though most of all straight men in the west wouldn’t want to be caught dead wearing makeup. This is actually one of the best Marilyn impressions I've seen in a while. She's gotten down all the subtle little things like eyebrow movements, the way she shapes her lips when she pronounces certain vowels. A lot of little small body language things like that. Maria has obviously done her research!

Firstly this was insanely relaxing, but also there were times where I forgot this was a role play and genuinely felt really bad that you seemed so sad 😭 Marilyn deserved to be happy she was so lovely. I think this is a really nice tribute to her.

The way she talks about her hopes for her life but then also says things that make it clear she knows it's a different time gives me this eerie feeling like she's a ghost who is a little scatterbrained and doesn't always realize she's deceased. Especially with the constant look of 'sadness' that everyone is mentioning. It's a morbid thought, but I think it's interesting.

This performance deserves an Oscar 😱 someone make a “best ASMR performance” category stat

As someone who has idolized Marilyn Monroe in my younger years, I'm amazed how well you managed to capture her mannerisms and her speech patterns... I also saw someone say that you capture the sadness that was always behind her eyes and I've got to say that you have gotten that too. Not only was this relaxing but I couldn't fall asleep because I was just in awe with how great the acting was. It just felt so natural.

I've just come up with an analogy that I think perfectly describes why Maria is the best ASMRtist. Her work is just a breath of fresh air, it's not filled with over the top sticky sounds and random tapping and noises that don't suit what's happening, it's natural and just light and breezy, like I said, a breath of fresh air, whereas a lot of other asmrists are like artificial fragrance spray you use in your toilet 😂

Every time I watch, I'm torn between relaxation and being on the verge of tears, for some reason. Poor Marilyn, I wish I could give her a hug.

Gotta pause this while I pick up my jaw from the floor.

Well, I'll tell you what........She nails it on a number of MM personifications. At the beginning I saw your mouth/teeth/smile and I recognized YOU. But then you be came MM and there were many, many moments in which I was seeing MM. Very well done Maria.
