Mariah was one of the only judges who actually gave singing advice to the contestants, even if they were horrible she gave them advice on what they might want to do next, she gave her honest opinion about what she thought of their performances, which is what every judge on the type of shows should be doing. Patti Labelle was right when she said that some of the judges on american idol aren’t even qualified to judge, but Mariah is certainly an exception.

And also, a lot of these artists have been insanely successful, yes, but they don’t seem to know a thing about the technical side of singing. Did Katy Perry, Rita ora, Cheryl Cole, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and several others ever give any valuable advice to the contestants like Mariah did?

she seems really sweet... like a nice person like she always tried to say things in the nicest possible way and i respect that. i respect when ppl deliver honesty with kindness. some people think the two are antitheses of each other and its stupid. you can be honest and also be nice.

Everytime Nicki opened her mouth Mariah would cut her off and start speaking as if she was not even there, every opinion Nicki made Mariah would insult it and make her look stupid. It's like she thought they were in a competition and did everything in her power to make her look bad. It was weird.
