The fact is that even for Mariah who has perfect pitch, it is impossible to hit all the notes on perfect pitch. This is because as the voice is a mechanical instrument it will never be so precise. Back in the time, the live performances were edited to be on tv, for example. Here, as it hasn’t been edited posteriorly, the only explanation to such perfection is that all the show has been previously recorded. Also, it might be accurate that all the songs through the concerts will be based on the same track. This is very easy to prove. This is unfortunate because some time ago Mariah named herself an imperfect angel and the audio now seems artificial, which is contradictory. Her imperfection, being out of tune, missing some notes, changing some ad-libs, being creative, bringing something new made her Mariah Carey.

I do think she had to take something to relax(pills or light alcohol) and many of the vocals are pre recorded. In her defense...she NEVER wanted to be a touring artist because she knew it would ruin her voice...which it did.

There was no notes to hit in these songs certainly no competition for Raw octave singer Chante Moore ,she doesn't use vocal enhancements ,sing Mariah stop talking so much and joking

i love her, but too much lip-sync, the wigs and too much make up makes her older, and outfits and shoes in wich she is moving like a robot are the wrong. maybe she needs a vocal coach to get back secureness of her voice and be a singer again and not a playback-performer like a look-alike. she is sooooo talented, but is she so stubborn or is her team that afraid to tell her the truth what people think? and yes its important what people think, they buy the tickets. im afraid that this vegas-style-best-of is all we will get from mariah in future.

I love that she's still doing these performances! I just hope one day she will transition into a more theatre jazz cabaret style of performance. Just her voice, a small band, and MAYBE background singers. It will allow her to set her own pace when it comes to singing and will be more intimate.

@@arethasD6belt very nice idea, had the same....but now she is doing over and over again her best of....i know it is hard to create new songs that suits the actual voice, because she has her own very high standard...but vocal rest and no vocal coach is no way for future....her best vocals are on TEOM because she was on huge world tour before with charmbracelet....now her voice had enough time to rest, but its not healthy and it changes through age and hormon change, so she needs new technique and a maybe a bit different sound, new songs. its sad to see, that she is not moving forward and we lambs cannot excuse anything all the time.
