@@datedylan2187 If you truly respect Whitney, you would know she regarded Mariah highly, and probably wouldn't want people to disrespect any of them by bringing the other one up. They also have very different voices and singing styles all together so the comparison falls flat, because Mariah can't be Whitney, and Whitney can't be Mariah.

What more can be said about this performance. The world was so grateful for this prime era.

I find a lot of song covers that blow me away, including this song. But nobody can sing her song like she can. This live, that last part especially! She snapped!! Just wow

Mimi did great here. Her 2005 tone is soulful and nice.

@@agentsquish There is a change to the quality of her voice exactly at 2:54. I guess it could be the sound engineer that switches something with the levels - but it could obviously also be that it is when the lipped part starts. Who knows? She's that good, so everyone can only speculate.

Hello dear...i listened very carefully... actually there is obviously some vocals in background from the real audio... now the thing is...the only doubt place is from 3:25 before it... there is no lipsycing... now even from that time i mention till the end... i am not sure...really...and no one can be sure up to 100 percent..that it is lipsycing or not...only mariah carey would tell us byherself...but another thing you would keep in mind...she is level of the singer that she can really sing that high Pitch at live too cause back in 90s people used to sing on real tunes mostly ...not like in this era where auto tunes are very common... @@gingerkyriakos6968
