40%+ of Australians voted No in the gay marriage plebiscite. That's 40% without a voice on these issues.

The irony here is that at Margaret Court Arena, among all of the people who spectate or play tennis there, all of the human experiences that Mrs Court finds so unacceptable to her Christian beliefs are on full display. Regardless of who's name appears on the stadium's title those human experiences will continue to take place there. If Mrs Court's stance on these issues is so diametrically opposed to the stance of Tennis Australia, perhaps she should request that her name be removed?

HI just for the matter of interest to Margaret Court , How did you become a pastor and by whom authority ? because the Word of God says . 1 Timothy 2:11-12 King James Version 11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. Titus 2:3-5 King James Version 3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Israel Folau was also condemned for his personal views and religious convictions. Shame. We are not all the same. Our personal beliefs should be respected. Holding posts in the world, whether in sport, business, work should not be dictated by what employees think and believe and whether they align with socialist and leftist views. Those who hurl abuse and accusations at those with conventional views are doing exactly what they accuse the other side of doing. No one wins the argument. Let sports people be sports people and celebrate their victories and achievements. Surely they should be recognised for what they have managed to achieve in their lives. Don’t jump on others when they offend you because you don’t agree with their views. This is false humility.

@ the biz - Whatever you BELIEVE, it is true in your mind only, unless it is PROVEN as a fact. Then and ONLY then, it is no longer a belief but a FACT. You can also have an OPINION and NOBODY's opinion is WRONG in the same way as your beliefs. WHO decides what is free speech and what is hate speech? you either allow it ALL or NONE of it. I have always advocated for free speech no matter how stupid, offensive or bigoted it may be. I have also found that the best way to deal with loud mouthed bigots is to let them speak - NOT try and silence them. The more crap they sprout, the more of their stupidy appears. It is a FACT, that Margaret Court was one of the GREATS of tennis and should be recognised for those achievements. What she thinks about religion and minorities is of no intrest to me, but she IS entitled to express an opinion if someone asks her a question. If you don't agree with her - SO WHAT! - Would you rather someone with a superiority complex wrote a book ordering you how to feel, think and act? It's been done before and billions of sheeple who can't think for themselves live by it. Some of them are good tennis players too!!

You are so deluded that you automatically think that anyone with a different opinion to you just simply has to be wrong. It does not matter how often, how loud or how many others shout the same mantra - it does not automatically make it true. FACTS are FACTS - they are not voted for democratically, they are scientifically tested over and over again with the same results .By the way, your last sentence is total bullshit and another strawman argument, there are no such thing as right and wrong opinions - THEY ARE YOUR OPINIONS and are subjective whether others agree with you or not.
