I don’t think it has anything to do with Poch how’s a manager meant to micro manage 25 players and deeply analyze all the things they do in every game. Adapting to a new club, new playing style, new team mates, it’s just smart agent to realize he could be helped with more 1on1 coaching. A tennis coach coaches one player, yet a football manager is expected to man manage 25 players with the same intensity?

Poch was dealing with a bloated squad and Caicedo was one of the few players that were solid enough to be thrown into the deep end. Energy needed to be focused into Gallagher, Colwill, Cucurella, Mudryk, Jackson and Madueke because they were way less refined and consistent.

Matese we should demonstrate regardless of the age bracket we have. Its not agaist the players but rather the board and technical directors. If things go south we shud have a go or else this will become them norm then good players like Palmer, will consider departure.
