  Dortmund did not agree to this buyout clause. It was a dry loan. The release clause was agreed with Maatsen as part of his extention. That's why this clause is available to any club. Dortmund don't even have 1st refusal.

  As an Argentinian and River Plate fan, this is an excellent analysis of Alvarez. He is not just a goal scorer, he is a winner. Also, trust that you would be pleasantly surprised at extent of the Enzo/Alvarez connection. Add Palmer into that picture, scary.

  A well rounded finisher is a welcome idea. Problem is even in world football how many complete finishers have we got, how many great headers do we have in today's game? Even Haaland isn't particularly great in terms of headers

  @@matissearmani dude your anal-la-sis as you call it is 99% top teir.. But your telling me Yaya allowed the majority of City player makers who were all short do their thing? City predominantly play on the ground... LV didn't struggle with Suárez, Sterling, Sturridge.. Didn't struggle with Salah, Firmino & Mane.. Then you could also argue Barca, Messi, Ronaldinho, Perdo, Xavi, Iniesta, Suárez, Too again not all tall guys.. As a team you play to your strengths.. So if you ain't got height crossing isn't the options.. Long shots, loose ball tap ins, tiki taka, fifa finesse shots whatever it takes to accomadate lack of height

But, talking about playing to the team's strengths, we won't be maximising the crossing ability of majority of our creators - Enzo, Cole, James and Olise if we get don't get someone that can get on the end of those types of chances. But then again, the heading skill is almost getting extinct. Very few forwards have good heading technique even if they have the aerial presence

  ⁠@@peluminova2515Fair. & that's why our directors need sacking.. Coz at the moment it's just buying promising young players not having an identity/ style.. But on your point we have Reece, Enzo, Gusto can cross so we buy Jackson cannot head for shit.. We then add Palmer can go into Striker market and go with no-one.. We are now poss now adding another crosser Olise.. So at this point FUCK the crossing in the air.. Cross along the box.. All these player maybe not Enzo can get to a byline and thread the ball through a needle and Álvarez is GREAT addition and in the box he is not selfish and can also assist.. So he has alot of great attributes.. Think he is ahead of Jackson in terms of calmness in the tricky situations

  If we get Olise than we don't need alvarez , rather a Target man ! Nkunku, Palmer , Olise all very Similar to Alvarez ! Also Perez coming 2025 .. Bring in Sesko or Toney just to Have that Target Man when needed ...

  Alvarez is a decent forward and he's versatile, but he literally offers nothing that we don't already have in Nkunku🤷🏾‍♂️ For me it's definitely a no, get someone who's a different profile from Nkunku and Jackson, if the top guy isn't available then get someone for cheap who can atleast be competition for them, until THE guy becomes available down the line
