for this i just used TH3. the Ampeg SVT CL amp with an Ampeg cab IR from rosen digital.

oh yeah, definitely. the 5-string version is a super long scale, so 35" instead of the usual 34". so it can handle G.

bass straight into interface (forcusrite scarlett), then TH3 for the tone, the Ampeg SVT CL amp with an Ampeg cab IR. that´s pretty much it.

oh, and a noise gate first thing in the chain followed by a compressor. then amp/cab etc.

i´m about 6'5 in freedom units. 1,95m in metric. this bass also has a 35" scale instead of the standard 34". but it´s surprisingly light.

@@kenjicarlos8402 i would think so. but does it really matter what it looks like on you? i mean take the bassist from Trivium. he´s on the smaller side and his basses look pretty big on him. but no one cares. he´s a bad ass bassist.
